41-1-Ordinance No. 81-042 Recorded 12/3/1981i voL 41 PACE 1 BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON An Ordinance Amending Sections ) 5.100(9), 5.110(8), 5.120(10), ) 5.130 (7) , and 5. 140 (7) , of ) Ordinance No. PL-15, Deschutes ) County Zoning Ordinance of 1979, ) L as Amended, to Permit Ramadas ) in Conjunction with a Mobile Home; and Declaring an Emergency. ) e 1981 ROSEMARY PATTEP,SON ORDINANCE NO. 81-042 DESCHUTES COU,,TY CLERK WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended to the Board of County Commissioners that ramadas be allowed in conjunction with a mobile home; and law; and WHEREAS, notice of hearing was given in accordance with WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a hearing on November 17, 1981; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners found that ramadas should be permitted; now, therefore, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, ORDAINS as follows: Section 1. That Section 5.100, MINIMUM STANDARDS FOR A MOBILE HOME ON AN INDIVIDUAL LOT AS A SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING, Subsection (9), is amended to read as follows: (9) All mobile home accessory buildings and structures shall comply with state and local construction and installation standards. Mobile home accessory struc- tures include porches and steps, awnings, cabanas, carports, ramadas, or any other structure or addition that depends in part on the mobile home for its structural support in any manner, or is immediately adjacent to or attached to the mobile home. The combined area of such structures or additions, other than ramadas, shall not total more than thirty percent (30%) of the total living space of the mobile home. Roofing and siding materials shall be of similar material and color, and shall be complementary to the existing mobile home unit. A ramada will not have to be removed concurrent with a mobile home removal, if the ramada is converted to another legal use. ORDINANCE NO. 81-042, PAGE 1 Section 2. That Section 5.110, MOBILE HOME AS A PRIMARY ACCESSORY FARM DWELLING, Subsection 8, is amended to read as follows: (8) All mobile home accessory buildings and structures shall comply with state and local construction and installation standards. Mobile home accessory struc- tures include porches and steps, awnings, cabanas, carports, ramadas, or any other structure or addition that depends in part on the mobile home for its structural support in any manner, or is immediately adjacent to or attached to the mobile home. Mobile home accessory struc- tures include porches and steps, awnings, cabanas, carports, ramadas, or any other structure or addition that depends in part on the mobile home for its structural support in any manner, or is immediately adjacent to or attached to the mobile home. That Section 5.130, MOBILE HOME AS A SINGLE- FAMILY DWELLING ON AN INDIVIDUAL LOT NOT IN A DULY PLATTED AND APPROVED MOBILE HOME SUBDIVISION, PD, OR IN SPECIFIC MOBILE HOME RESIDENTIAL ZONES, Subsection (7), is amended to read as follows: (7) All mobile home accessory buildings and structures shall comply with state and local construction and installation standards. Mobile home accessory struc- tures include porches and steps, awnings, cabanas, carports, ramadas, or any other structure or addition that depends in part on the mobile home for its structural support in any manner, or is immediately adjacent to or attached to the mobile home. This Ordinance being necessary for the immediate preservation of public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this Ordinance takes effect on its passage.
