Temporary Use of Property,
located in Section 6C, Town-
ship 21 South, Range 11 EWM, I L E
for a Home Occupation for
Richard J. Rowe.

WHEREAS, Richard J. Rowe has applied for a Conditional Use
Application to permit a home occupation for the preparation and
wholeselling of beef jerky on property described as Tax Lot 601,
Section 6C, Township 21 South, Range 11 East, Willamette Meridian,
Deschutes County, Oregon; and
WHEREAS, Richard J. Rowe appeared before the Board of
County Commissioners on December 22, 1981, and explained the
circumstances relating to his emergency and need to temporarily use
his property while his application is being considered; and
WHEREAS, Richard J. Rowe provided the Board of County
Commissioners with a letter further explaining the necessity of a
Temporary Use Permit on the property and indicated that he fully
understood that in the event permanent use was denied, he would have
to voluntarily stop his business, and
WHEREAS, Richard J. Rowe agreed to hold the County harmless
from any damage as a result of County granting said Temporary Use
Permit; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners informed Richard
J. Rowe that any Temporary Use Permit authorized by the Board would
be for a limited period of time, require all building and other
permits be obtained and that the use terminate if the pending
application was denied; and
WHEREAS, Richard J. Rowe informed the Board that he
understood the terms of the temporary permit; now, therefore,
tHE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That Richard J. Rowe be granted a Temporary Use
Permit for a home occupation for the preparation and wholeselling of
beef jerky on property described as Tax Lot 601, Section 6C, Township
21 South, Range 11 East, Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County,
Oregon.

Section 2. That this Temporary Use Permit shall be
effective so long as an application for a Conditional Use Permit for
a home occupation is pending.
Section 3. That this Temporary Use Permit shall expire
upon the date of approval or denial of the pending Conditional Use
Application and in no event shall the temporary use of the property
for a home occupation of preparation of wholesaling of beef jerky be
continued on the property for a period of more than six months.
Section 4. That all other applicable laws and regulations
affecting the use of the property be complied with during the life of
the permit. ft-
