RESOLUTION NO. 82-021
WHEREAS, the owners of property abutting a portion of Buck
Drive, a portion of Doe Lane, all of Stag Drive, and all of Fawn
Lane have requested the Board of County Commissioners to improve
certain roads; and
WHEREAS, it appears that such roads should be improved; and
WHEREAS, it appears that it is in the public interest that
the Public Works Department of Deschutes County, Oregon, perform
required engineering and surveying for this improvement; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That proceedings be initiated to improve a
portion of Buck Drive, a portion of Doe Lane, all of Stag Drive,
and all of Fawn Lane to the Deschutes County Local Road Standard
for the benefit of the area described in Exhibit "A", attached
hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
Section 2. That the dedicated road to be improved within the
district described in Section 1 of this Resolution is described as
follows:
That portion of the roads in Klippel Acres,
an unrecorded subdivision, as filed in the
office of the County Surveyor, Deschutes

County, Oregon, being described in Section 1
of this Resolution, consisting of: that
portion of Buck Drive lying West of the canal
easement, the easterly 700 feet of Doe Lane,
all of Stag Drive, and all of Fawn Lane.
Section 3. Improvements to be made to the roadway within the
district include all or part of, but are not limited to, the
following:
1. Clearing and grubbing.
2. Subgrade preparation.
3. Placement of 32 -feet -wide cinder. base.
4. Placement of 24 feet in width 0-9 Oil Mat.
5. Installation of street name signs, safety signs and
bar.r.ier rails as required, including traffic control
devices.
6. Engineering, surveying, legal, interim financing,
administration and planning, and construction of the
proposed improvements and any related costs.
Section 4. The road to be improved as a result of this
Resolution shall be improved to County Road Standards.
Section 5. This Resolution shall hereby be referred to the
County Engineer for investigation of the proposed improvements in
accordance with ORS 371.625. The County Engineer may engage the
services of any qualified engineer for all or part of the inves-
tigation required under. ORS 371.625.
