RESOLUTION NO. 82-017 WHEREAS, the owner of property abutting the proposed improvement of Williams Loop in Deschutes County, Oregon, has requested the Board of County Commissioners to improve this certain road; and WHEREAS, it appears that such road should be improved; and WHEREAS, it appears that it is in the public interest that the Public Works Department of Deschutes County, Oregon, perform required engineering and surveying for this improvement; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That proceedings be initiated to improve Williams Loop and Williams Way to the Deschutes County Local Road Standards for the benefit of the area described as follows: Parcel #1 - All of the Plat of Squire Ridge, Phase I, Deschutes County Plat #490, recorded August 29, 1979 in Volume 18, Page 57 of Deschutes County Deed Records and filed in Cabinet B-678 in the office of the Deschutes County Clerk, 1 - RESOLUTION NO. 82-017 VOL 41 Pw, 94.'7 Excepting therefrom Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Block 1; Lots 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Block 2; and Lot 9 of Block 3 of the said Plat of Squire Ridge, Phase I. Parcel #2 - All of the Plat of Squire Ridge, Phase II, Deschutes County Plat #490 recorded January 14, 1980 in Volume 19, Page 11 of Deschutes County Deed Records, and filed in Cabinet B-723 in the office of the Deschutes County Clerk. Section 2. That the dedicated roads to be improved within the district described in Section 1 of this Resolution is described as follows: Williams Loop and Williams Way, as shown in Parcel #1 and Parcel #2, in Section 1 of this Resolution. Section 3. Improvements to be made to the roadway within the district include all or part of, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Compaction of existing base and application of a leveling course if necessary. 2. Fine Grading. 3. Placement of 24 feet in width asphaltic concrete pavement surface. 4. Installation of street name signs, street safety signs and barrier rails as required, including traffic control devices. 5. Engineering, surveying, legal, interim financing, administration and planning, and construction of the proposed improvements and any related costs. Section 4. The roads to be improved as a result of this Resolution shall be improved to County Road Standards. Section 5. This Resolution shall hereby be referred to the County Engineer for investigation of the proposed improvements in accordance with ORS 371.625. The County Engineer may engage the services of any qualified engineer for all or part of the inves- tigation required under ORS 371.625. 2 - RESOLUTION NO. 82-017 von 41 DATED this 34 day of , 1982.
