WHEREAS, on March 5, 1981, the Board of County
Commissioners initiated by Resolution the improvement of dedicated
public roads within the First Addition to Chaparral Estates; and
WHEREAS, the Resolution was referred to the County Engineer,
who investigated the improvement and estimated the cost of the
improvement, and a cost estimate of this improvement has been pre-
pared in accordance with ORS 371.625; and
WHEREAS, notice pursuant to ORS 371.630 has been mailed
to each benefitted property owner; and
WHEREAS, a hearing on the proposed improvement was held
on April 7, 1981; and
WHEREAS, five objections have been filed with the Board
of County Commissioners regarding said road improvements, rep-
resenting less than 50% of the owners of land and less than 50%
of the total assessment of the proposed improvement; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. To improve the dedicated roads within First
Addition to Chaparral Estates, which is described as follows:
All of Block 1 of the First Addition to Chaparral
Estates;
Also, all of Block 2 of the First Addition to
Chaparral Estates;
Also, Lots 1, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20
and the Westerly 105.0 feet of the Northerly
170.0 feet of Lot 22; of Block 3 of the First
Addition to Chaparral Estates.
Section 2. That the dedicated roads to be improved within
the District described in Section 1 of this Order, are to be improved
by contract, and are described as follows:

All that portion of Loma Linda Drive lying
Northerly of the Easterly projection of the
South line of Lot 1, Block 1, and all of
Greystone Lane, as platted in the Plat of
the First Addition to Chaparral Estates, as
filed and recorded in the office of the County
Clerk of Deschutes County, Oregon, being
60.00 feet in width and approximately 3,535.0
feet in length.
Section 3. This Order is notice that the land described
in Section is subject to a lien of an assessment for the cost of
the improvement, in an amount to be determined later by an Order
of the County Court.
Section 4. The County Clerk shall endorse upon the Order,
the date o the filing thereof, and shall record and index the same
in a lien docket in the Office of the ounty Clerk.
