WHEREAS, EUGENE PATTERSON has applied for a conditional use
permit to site a mobile home on property described as Tax Lot 303,
Section 26, Township 17 South, Range 12 East of the Willamette
Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon; and
WHEREAS, EUGENE PATTERSON had a lawfully existing mobile
home placed on said property which was destroyed by fire; and
WHEREAS, EUGENE PATTERSON appeared before the Board of County
Commissioners on February 24, 1981, and explained the circumstances
relating to the siting of the mobile home and its destruction by fire;
and
WHEREAS, John Andersen, Planning Director for Deschutes
County, explained the need for a conditional use permit which would
require approximately eight weeks; and
WHEREAS, EUGENE PATTERSON explained the nature of the
emergency requiring the siting of the mobile home; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners informed EUGENE
PATTERSON that any temporary use permit authorized by the Board
would be for a limited period of time, would require all building and
sanitation permits be obtained, and that any occupancy of the mobile
home would have to cease if the pending application was denied; and
WHEREAS, EUGENE PATTERSON informed the Board that he under-
stood the terms of the temporary permit; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDEALS as follows:
Section 1. That EUGENE PATTERSON be granted a temporary use
permit for a single-wide mobile home on property described as Tax
Lot 303, Section 26, Township 17 South, Range 12 East of the Willamette
Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon.
Section 2. That this temporary use permit shall be effective
upon the submission of applications for a conditional use permit
for the mobile home to be sited.
Section 3. That this temporary use permit shall expire
upon the date of the approval or denial of the pending conditional
use permit application.

Section 4. That the conditional use application permit
