RESOLUTION NO. 81-023 ' 198 ')C'`'U FscoA4 r7-, UNrr C �K WHEREAS, residents within Crest Ridge Estates Subdivision have requested that the Board of County Commissioners improve certain roads within the subdivision; and WHEREAS, it appears that such roads should be improved, provided the investigation and formation of any local improvement district entails no County expense not to be reimbursed; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That proceedings be initiated to improve dedicated public roads described as certain roads within Crest Ridge Estates Sub- division which are described as follows: All of Crest Ridge Estates. Section 2. That the dedicated roads to be improved within the district described in Section 1 of this Resolution are described as follows: All of the roads platted in the Plat of Crest Ridge Estates, Plat Number 564, as filed and recorded in the office of the County Clerk, Deschutes County, Oregon. ALSO, a strip of land 60.00 feet in width, being 30.00 feet on each side of the following -described centerline: Commencing at the Northeast one - sixteenth corner of Section 11, Township 15 South, Range 12 East of the Willamette Meridian; thence, North 89° 41' 02" West 445.50 feet along the South line of said Plat of Crest Ridge Estates to the POINT OF BEGINNING on the centerline of 74th Street as platted in said Plat of Crest Rdige Estates; thence, 0.50 feet along the arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 300.00 feet, the chord of which bears South 0° 16' 52" East 0.50 feet; thence, South 0° 19' 45" East 1358.93 feet; thence, 383.02 feet along the arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 100.00 feet, the chord of which bears RESOLUTION NO. 81-023, PAGE 1 + VOL e� PAGE South 11° 18' 06" East 380.68 feet; thence, South 22° 16' 28" East 660.25 feet; thence, 98.44 feet along the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 100.00 feet, the chord of which bears South 5° 55' 37" West 94.51 feet; thence, South 34° 07' 43" East 1001.06 feet; thence, 125.07 feet along the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 300.00 feet, the chord of which bears South 46° 04' 19: West 124.17 feet; thence, 38.8+ feet along the arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 300.00 feet, the chord of which bears South 54° 18' 22" West 38.82 feet, to the terminus of said centerline, being on the centerline of Eagle Drive (Old Redmond -Sisters Highway), being 60.00 feet in width, and approximately 4 miles in length. Section 3. The improvements to be made to the roadways within the district include all or part, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Subgrade preparation. 2. Grading of existing base, if any. 3. Placement of a leveling course on the prepared subgrade, or graded surface. 4. Compaction of subgrade and existing surface. and application of leveling course as necessary. 5. Placement of asphalt penetration macadam over the prepared course. 6. Installation of street safety signs and barrier rails, as required. 7. Engineering, surveying, legal, interim financing, administration and planning, and construction of the proposed improvements, and any related costs. Section 4. All roads to be improved as a result of this Resolutionshy be improved to County Road Standards, where feasible. Section 5. This Resolution shall hereby be referred to the County Engineer for investigation of the proposed improvements in accordance with ORS 371.625.
