RESOLUTION NO. 81-021 F LC D 1981 DFS is co PA TTERS otv UNT Y CLE RIC WHEREAS, residents within Tetherow Crossing Subdivision have requested that the Board of County Commissioners improve certain roads within the subdivision; and WHEREAS, it appears that such roads should be improved, provided the investigation and formation of any local improvement district entails no County expense not to be reimbursed; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That proceedings be initiated to improve dedicated public roads described as certain roads within Tetherow Crossing Sub- division, which are described as follows: All of Tetherow Crossing, Phases I through VII, except Lots 11 through 14, Block 2 of Tetherow Crossing, Phase VII. Section 2. That the dedicated roads to be improved within the district described in Section 1 of this Resolution are described as follows: All of the roads platted in the plats of Tetherow Crossing Phases I through VII as filed and recorded in the office of the County Clerk, Deschutes County, Oregon, EXCEPT N. W. 60th Street, as platted in Tetherow Crossing, Phase VII. ALSO, that road which begins at the intersection of the Easterly boundary of Tetherow Crossing and N. W. Coyner Avenue, and runs in a Southeasterly direction to the intersection of Helmholtz Road and Coyner Road. Section 3. The improvements to be made to the roadways within the district include all or part, but are not limited to, the following: RESOLUTION NO. 81-021, PAGE 1 --, VOL 1. Subgrade preparation. 2. Grading of existing base, if any. 3. Placement of a leveling course on the prepared subgrade, or graded surface. 4. Compaction of subgrade and existing surface, and application of leveling course as necessary. 5. Placement of asphalt penetration macadam over the prepared course. 6. Installation of street safety signs and barrier rails, as required. 7. Engineering, surveying, legal, interim financing, administration and planning, and construction of the proposed improvements, and any related costs. Section 4. All roads to be improved as a result of this Resolution sill be improved to County Road Standards, where feasible. Section 5. This Resolution shall hereby be referred to the County Engineer for investigation of the proposed improvements in accordance with ORS 371.625. The County Engineer may engage the services of any qualified engineer for all or part of the investigation required under ORS 371.625. DATED this day of / ' � d�1��`%� 1981.
