RESOLUTION NO. 81-020 C'® IWAR r (,319 R0, B, DFscy�ES co q TT�RSo WHEREAS, residents within First Addition to Chaparral Estates have requested that the Board of County Commissioners improve certain roads within the subdivision; and WHEREAS, it appears that such roads should be improved, provided the investigation and formation of any local improvement district entails no County expense not to be reimbursed; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That proceedings be initiated to improve dedicated public roads described as certain roads within First Addition to Chaparral Estates, which are described as follows: All of Block 1 of the First Addition to Chaparral Estates; Also, all of Block 2 of the First Addition to Chaparral Estates; Also, Lots 1, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, and the Westerly 105.0 feet of the Northerly 170.0 feet of Lot 22; of Block 3 of the First Addition to Chaparral Estates. Section 2. That the dedicated roads to be improved within the district described in Section 1 of this Resolution are described as follows: All that portion of Loma Linda Drive lying Northerly of the Easterly projection of the South line of Lot 1, Block 1, and all of Greystone Lane, as platted in the Plat of the First Addition to Chaparral Estates, as filed and recorded in the office of the County Clerk, Deschutes County, Oregon, being 60.00 feet in width and approximately 3,535.0 feet in length. RESOLUTION NO. 81-020, PAGE 1 VOL �9PbGE Section 3. The improvements to be made to the roadways within the district include all or part, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Subgrade preparation. 2. Grading of existing base, if any. 3. Placement of a leveling course on the prepared subgrade, or graded surface. 4. Compaction of subgrade and existing surface, and application of leveling course as necessary. 5. Placement of asphalt penetration macadam over the prepared course. 6. Installation of street safety signs and barrier rails, as required. 7. Engineering, surveying, legal, interim financing, administration and planning, and construction of the proposed improvements, and any related costs. Section 4. All roads to be improved as a result of this Resolution s a 1 be improved to County Road Standards, where feasible. Section 5. This Resolution shall hereby be referred to the County Engineer for investigation of the proposed improvements in accordance with ORS 371.625.
