RESOLUTION NO. 81-022 F/LE OR 61987 DE Cy FSRy PATTER -COUNTY ON Q41C WHEREAS, residents within Lovestone Acres First Addition, Lovestone Acres, and Stoneridge Subdivisions have requested that the Board of County Commissioners improve certain roads within the sub- division; and WHEREAS, it appears that such roads should be improved, provided the investigation and formation of any local improvement district entails no County expense not to be reimbursed; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That proceedings be initiated to improve dedicated public roads described as certain roads within Lovestone Acres First Addition, Lovestone Acres, and Stoneridge Subdivisions which are described as follows: All of Lovestone Acres, First Addition; All of Lovestone Acres; All of Stoneridge. Section 2. That the dedicated roads to be improved within the district described in Section l of this Resolution are described as follows: All of the roads platted in the Plat of Stoneridge, Plat No. 449, as filed and recorded in the office of the County Clerk, Deschutes County, Oregon. ALSO, all of the roads that are to be platted in the proposed plats of Lovestone Acres, Plat No. 547, and Lovestone Acres First Addition, Plat No. 557, said roads being 60.00 feet in width, 30.00 feet on each side of the following -described centerline: Commencing at the East one-quarter corner of Section 5, RESOLUTION NO. 81-022, PAGE 1 Vol 317n E 259 Township 17 South, Range 12 East of the Willamette Meridian; thence North 89° 59' 20" West 761.22 feet along the North line of said Plat of Stoneridge to THE POINT OF BEGINNING on the centerline of Crosswinds Road, as platted in said Plat of Stone- ridge; thence, North 105.00 feet; thence, 167.38 feet along the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 350.00 feet, the chord of which bears North 13° 42' 00" East 165.79 feet; thence, 239.55 feet along the arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 250.00 feet, the chord of which bears North 0° 03' 00" West 230.49 feet; thence, 224.93 feet along the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 250.00 feet, the chord of which bears North 1° 43' 30" West 217.42 feet; thence North 24° 03' 00" East 293.82 feet; thence, 195.78 feet along the arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 350.00 feet, the chord of which bears North 8° 01' 30" East 193.24 feet; thence, North 8° 00' 00" West 106.00 feet; thence, 182.06 feet along the arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 254.43 feet, the chord of which bears North 28° 30' 00" West 178.20 feet; thence, 202.90 feet along the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 250.00 feet, the chord of which bears North 25° 45' 00" West 197.37 feet; thence, North 2° 30' 00" West 135.00 feet; thence, 158.82 feet along the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 1300.00 feet, the chord of which bears North 1° 00' 00" East 158.73 feet; thence, North 4° 30' 00" East 190.00 feet; thence, 86.85 feet along the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 350.00 feet, the chord of which bears North ll° 36' 30" East 86.62 feet; thence 152.92 feet along the arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 350.00 feet, the chord of which bears North 6° 12' 00" East 151.71 feet; thence, 125.77 feet along the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 375.00 feet, the chord of which bears North 3° 17' 30" East 125.18 feet; thence 182.80 feet along the arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 375.00 feet, the chord of which bears North 1° 03' 53" West 180.99 feet, to the terminus of this description, said terminus being a point on the North line of said Section 5 which bears South 89° 58' 35" West 694.24 feet from the North- east corner of said Section 5. Section 3. The improvements to be made to the roadways within the district,include all or part, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Subgrade preparation. 2. Grading of existing base, if any. Compaction of subgrade and existing surface. and application of leveling course as necessary. 5. Placement of asphalt penetration macadam over the prepared course. 6. Installation of street safety signs and barrier rails, as required. 7. Engineering, surveying, legal, interim financing, administration and planning, and construction of the proposed improvements, and any related costs. Section 4. All roads to be improved as a result of this Resolution shall be improved to County Road Standards, where feasible. Section 5. This Resolution shall hereby be referred to the County Engineer for investigation of the proposed improvements in accordance with ORS 371.625. The County Engineer may engage the services of any qualified engineer for all or part of the investigation required under ORS 371.625. DATED this ,j?"'k. day of 1981.
