36-307-Order No. 80-227 Recorded 11/5/1980VOL 36nu 307 BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGO~ L E .I® An Order Renaming of Public ) Road Aerial Way (All of) to ) NO V 5 1960 Jordon Court ) ROSEMARY p'AnERSO ORDER NO. 80-227 4)ESCHHTES COI ANTY fVK This matter having come before the Board sitting regularly for the transaction of County business at the request of the Deschutes County Road Department; and IT APPEARING to the Board that it is in the public interest that the following described portion of public road presently called Aerial Way (All of) should be renamed: Jordon Court For the purpose of name change from Aerial Way (All Of) to Jordon Court, being 60' in width and being approximately .11 miles in length, located in Township 14 South, Range 13 East, Section 28, as platted on the official plat of Mountain Shadows, as recorded in the office of the County Clerk, Deschutes County, Oregon. AND IT FURTHER APPEARING to the Board that the Road Department has recommended that the road name be changed to Jordon Court. Now therefore, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the above described road be named Jordon Court and that the Road Department take such further steps as are necessary to insure that the road is so identified for all purposes. In the interest of public safety (fire and other emergency response times) and in the interest of protecting the considerable time and effort that has already gone into making the Redmond Fire Grid a uniformly applied and accepted system, we hereby request that the Road Department initiate a petition to the Commission to change the road names as indicated on the attached sketch. While discussing this with Lynn McKibben of Consultants Northwest, he indicated that he had dis- cussed this with Craig Smith and had left a call for you to discuss it with you.
