WHEREAS, the La Pine Special Sewer District was formed by
Order of the Board of County Commissioners of Deschutes County, Oregon,
on September 3, 1980; and
WHEREAS, ORS 198.825 provides that the Board of County Com-
missioners shall Order an election for the purpose of electing the
first members of the District Board; and
1981; and
WHEREAS, the next practicable election date is February 17,
WHEREAS, ORS 255.075 requires that notice of said election
be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the County;
now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON,
HEREBY ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. To hold an election for the purpose of electing,
in accordance with the provisions of ORS 450.045 to 450.060 and ORS
198.825, the three members of the first District Board of the La Pine
Special Sewer District on February 17, 1981. The election shall be
held at the La Pine Rural Fire Protection District No. 1 Fire Hall,
51550 Huntington Road, La Pine, Oregon, and shall be conducted by the
Deschutes County Clerk. Candidates for membership on the District Board
shall file for their candidacy on or before January 13, 1981.
Section 2. The Notice of District Election, marked Exhibit A,
attached hereto an by this reference incorporated herein, shall be
the Notice of Election to be published by the Deschutes County Clerk
in The Bend Bulletin.

NOTICE OF DISTRICT ELECTION TO ELECT MEMBERS
OF LA PINE SPECIAL SEWER DISTRICT
Notice is hereby given that three Board positions for
the La Pine Special Sewer District shall be voted upon on
February 17, 1981. Candidates wishing to file for election to
the Board of the La Pine Special Sewer District must file
petitions for nomination or declarations of candidacy with the
Deschutes County Clerk not later than January 13, 1981.
This Notice shall be published in The Bend Bulletin.
