Vol 34 PAGE 742 4. REHIRE; Throughout the upcoming year, as vacant positions become available, the County will make every effort possible to rehire the employees who have been released from service because of budget constraints. The decision regarding which employees to be released and/or cut back in hours was based upon the recommendation of the respective department officials. It was the responsibility of the department officials to ascertain the most efficient method of utilizing the limited funds allocated to their department. The Board of Commissioners sincerely regrets this action, however, given the budgetary limit the County has to deal with, such a decision is necessary, Dated this 12 day of June, 1980. on r' o ert C.
