AMENDMENT TO COUNTY
ORDINANCE NO. CG-4
The Board of County Commissioners ordains that County Ordinance CG-4 be amended by adding
the following sections. Material to be deleted is in brackets; new material is under-
lined.
1. Section [3.01] 3.00
2. Section 3.01. ABANDONED VEHICLES. (1) Any vehicle, so defined herein,
exposed to view from a road for more than 30 days, which is obviously
inoperable and which does not come within the exemptions listed below.
(2) This section shall not apply to a vehicle which is:
(a) At least twenty-five years old, and is maintained as a
collectors' item and is used for exhibitions, parades,
club activities and similar uses, but not used primari
for the transportation of persons or property; or
(b) Maintained and operated in accordance with subsection (2)(a)
of this section and is sanctioned as a vehicle of special
interest by an established organization that provides for
recognition of motor vehicles of special interest.
3. Section 3.02 ADMINISTRATOR. The County Engineer, [County Health Officer,]
County Sanitarian, County Sheriff or other person designated by resolution
of the Board to administer this ordinance and the duly authorized deputy or
assistant of such person.
4. Section [3.24] 3.25
5. Section 3.24. VEHICLE. Any mechanical device which is self-propelled or
designed for self-propulsion.

This ordinance being immediately necessary for the protection of public health,
safety and welfare, an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance takes effect
upon its adoption.
