PROTECTION DISTRICT )
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 198.705 to 198.955,
a petition signed by the Board of Directors of CLOVERDALE RURAL FIRE
PROTECTION DISTRICT has been filed with the Deschutes County Board of
Commissioners resolving that proceedings to annex certain territory lo-
cated in Deschutes County, Oregon, more particularly described as follows,
be initiated:
Parcel I: The West �, of the Northwest 4 of Section 34,
T15S, R11EWM, aka Tax Lot 15-11-00-5500 (80
acres more or less).
Parcel II: The Northwest 4 of the Southeast 4, together with
the 9.91 acres described on the attached survey,
all in Section 34, T15S, RllEWM. This 50 acres,
more or less, is known as Tax Lot 15-11-00-5700.
Section II. On the 16th day of July, 1980 at 10:00 a.m. at the Deschutes
County Courthouse Annex, Bend, Oregon, Conference Room A, a hearing will be
held by the Deschutes County Commissioners for the purpose of receiving any
protests to the proposed annexation by any interested persons. All inter-
ested persons may appear and be heard.
Section III. The petitioners desire to annex said property to CLOVER -
DALE RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT because the annexation will contribute
to the orderly growth and development of both the district and the territory
proposed to be annexed.
Section IV. The Deschutes County Commissioners will cause to be posted
this notice of said hearing in at least three public places and published
by two insertions in a newspaper of general circulation within the area to
be annexed.
Section V. Approval of the Resolution for annexation by the Deschutes
County Commissioners as presented or modified will result in an order being
entered so declaring and fixing a place and time not less than 20 nor more
than 50 days after the date of the order for a Final Hearing on the Reso-
lution. The order shall declare that if written requests for an election
are not filed in accordance with ORS 198.810(2), the Commissioners may at
the time of the Final Hearing enter their order authorizing the proposed
annexation."
