R E S O L U T I O N
This matter came before the regular term of the Board of County Commissioners
upon the petition of Deschutes County, Oregon, requesting the vacation of Saddle
Drive (All of).
The said Board finds that it is necessary to consider this vacation for
reasons of maintenance and access; and that this change should be made to serve
the interests of all landowners in the area;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that it is the intention of the Board
of County Commissioners to consider the vacation of the following -described
road, or portion thereof, to wit:
A strip of land for street purpose, Saddle Drive (All of) all roads
laying in Horseshoe Acres excepting that portion of Gerking Market
Road running on the westerly edge of said subdivision, in Township
16 South, Range 12 East Section 19, being 0.51 miles in length, and
60 feet in width, as platted on the Official Plat of Horseshoe Acres
Number 14, as recorded in the office of the County Clerk, Deschutes
County, Oregon.
IT IF FURTHER RESOLVED that:
1. On the 4th day of June, 1980, at 10:00 a.m., Pacific Standard Time,
at the Deschutes County Courthouse Annex, Bend, Oregon 97701, the Board of
County Commissioners will hold a hearing on the issue of whether the above-
described road or portion thereof should be vacated as a portion of the Deschutes
County Road System.
2. Copies of this Resolution, duly certified to as such by the County
Cleik,shall be posted in three conspicuous places along the road to be
vacated, and a copy of this Resolution shall be placed on the bulletin board
in the entrance to the Deschutes County Courthouse, Bend, Oregon.
