BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE STATE OF OREGON
FOR DESCHUTES COUNTY
In the Matter of Vacation of )
Southeast Corner of Neff and ) R E S O L U T I O N
Denser Roads ) (Corrected)
This matter came before the regular term of the Board of County Commissioners
upon the petition of Deschutes County, Oregon, requesting the vacation of Southeast
Corner of Neff and Denser Roads.
The said Board finds that it is necessary to consider this vacation for reasons
of maintenance and access; and that this, change should be made to serve the interests
of all landowners in this area;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that it is the intention of the Board
of County Commissioners to consider the vacation of the following -described road,
or portion thereof, to -wit:
A parcel of land lying in the Northwest one-quarter of the Northwest one-quarter
(NW 1/4 - NW 1/4) of Section 35, Township 17 South, Range 12 East of the Willamette
Meridian in Deschutes County, Oregon more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Nortwest corner of said Section 35; thence, South 30.00
feet along the center line of Denser Road to a point on the southerly right-
of-way line of Neff Road; thence East 40.00 feet along said southerly right-
of-way line of Neff Road to the point of beginning on the easterly right-of-way
line of Denser Road; thence, South 170.40 feet along said easterly right-of-way
line of Denser Road; thence, 272.42 feet along the arc of a curve to the right
having a radius of 262.94 feet the long chord of which bears N 400 07' 39"
E 260.40 feet, to a point on said southerly right-of-way line of Neff Road;
thence, West 196.91 feet along said southerly right-of-way line of Neff Road
to a point of beginning.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that:
1. On the 20th day of August, 1980, at 10:00 a.m., Daylight Time, at the
Deschutes County Courthouse Annex, Bend, Oregon 97701, the Board of County
Commissioners will hold a hearing on the issue of whether the above-described road
or portion thereof should be vacated as a portion of the Deschutes County Road System.
2. Copies of this Resolution, duly certified to as such by the County Clerk,
shall be posted in three conspicuous places along the road to be vacated, and a
copy of this Resolution shall be placed on the bulletin board in the entrance to
the Deschutes County Courthouse, Bend, Oregon.
