PURPOSE This levy is to provide funding for reinstating some of the services which have been curtailed because of budget cuts. EXPLANATION If the levy is approved, 60% of the revenues will be distributed among the County Library, County Sheriff and County Assessor. The remaining 40% will be distributed to other General Fund departments. If this measure is approved, the entire levy will be financed partially by the State of Oregon, which results in an estimated tax rate of $1.08 per $1,000 of true cash value, exclusive of levies for bond principal and interest and serial levies for capital construction.
