34-627-Order Recorded 5/14/1980LF 0430 a _f vfl BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE STATE OF OREGON FOR DESCHUTES COUNTY In the Matter of Donation ) of Certain Lands to the ) ORDER City of Bend (Colorado Avenue) ) This matter came on for a duly noticed public hearing before the regular term of the Board of County Commissioners on May 13, 1980. No person appeared to object to the donation of the land described below to the City of Bend. Accordingly, the Board of Commissioners finds as follows: 1. That the property described in the order below is not needed for public use, and it would be in the best interests of the public to donate said property to the City of Bend so long as used for public purposes. 2. ORS 271.330 authorizes the Board to convey the property described below, held as a result of foreclosure of a tax lien, to the City of Bend without consideration so long as it is used for public purposes. 3. The land is needed by the City of Bend for relocation of Colorado Avenue, and the City has requested this transfer for that purpose. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that: 1. Pursuant to ORS 271.330(2), the Board of Commissioners will convey the following- described parcel of land to the City of Bend so long as it is used for public purposes, which land is held by the County as a result of foreclosure of a tax lien, as set forth in that certain Tax Deed dated May 17, 1971, and recorded at Volume 175, Page 834, Deeds, Deschutes County Records: The West 6.5 feet of Lot 10, Block l,on Plat of Deschutes, City of Bend, recorded December 4, 1903 in Crook County, and as Plat A-1, Deschutes County Records. 2. Conveyance will be by bargain and sale deed, without consideration, and the City of Bend will pay the costs for transfer of title. DATED this /N+14 day of May, 1980.
