The zone change is in conformance with the Deschutes County Comprehensive Plan. 2. The zone change does not conflict with Statewide Planning Goals and would have a positive impact on the economy base of the Bend Area by allowing Bend Millwork to expand and provide parking for their employees. 3. There is a public need for the zone change as it will provide more jobs. 4. The parking lot being zoned M-1-T will provide a buffer zone between the Bend Millwork plant and the appellant's property. The County deeming this action to be in the public interest, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the zoning of the following described property be changed from R-2 to M-1 as shown on the attached map: Located on the West side of Boyd Acres Road immediately South of the North Unit Canal, tax lot 200, T17S, R12E, Section 28B, approx. 4 acres.
