O R D E R
This matter coming before the Board of County Commissioners,
upon the Planning Commission's recommendations, who held a
public hearing on this issue, May 24, 1978, and recommended
approval,
And it further appearing to the Board in reviewing the
Planning Commission record in the matter that the following
findings of fact were established:
1. The Bend Area General Plan designates 10 acres of the
property as General or Heavy Industrial. The remaining 45
acres is designated within a Development Alternative area
to be developed to urban standard and residential densities
as community facilities become available, primarily community
water and sewer.
2. The applicant's representative has indicated that there is
a local need for a brick manufacturing facility, which would
apparently be built at this site.
3. The proposal at this site would allow for a consolidation
of the applicant's operations plus expansion of industrial
operations at this site.
The County deeming this action to be in the public interest,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the zoning of the following
described property be changed from A-1 to M-2, as shown
on the attached map:
Approx. -2 mile North of Shevlin Park Road and
one mile West of COCC, tax lot 200, T17S, R11E,
Section 25, approx. 55 acres.
