BE IT REMEMBERED, That at a regular meeting of the County Commission held this
19th day of September, 1979, with all Commissioners present, the following business was
transacted and approved noted from September 19th through October 3, 1979.
IN THE MATTER OF
Adoption fo Zoning,
Comprehensive Plan Ordinance
for the City of Sisters:
At this time the Commission agreed
to adopting Sisters Comprehensive Plan and
Urban Growth Boundary Zoning Ordinance and
IN THE MATTER OF
Kendan Road
to hold a public meeting with consideration
the map showing land uses; the Sisters
the zoning map.
At this time the Commission agreed that the name change for KENDAN ROAD
would be the following, South Highland Drive,, which was agreeable to the residents
of the area as petitioned.
IN THE MATTER OF
Completed Local Improvement District X616:
At this time the Commission approved estimated and actual costs of road
improvement that has been completed on Highland Drive. Objections will be heard
on October 17, 1979 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hearing Room in the Board of Commissioners
office.
IN THE MATTER OF
Completed Local Improvement District X613:
At this time the Commission approved estimated and actual costs of road im-
provement that has been completed on S.W. 58th, S.W. Harvest, and Loma Linda Drive.
Objections will be heard on October 17, 1979 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hearing Room in the
Board of Commissioners Office.
IN THE MATTER OF
ESTABLISHING: S.W. 29th Court:S.W. Forest Court: S.W. Glacier Avenue: that portion
of S.W. Forest Avenue; that portion of S.W. 35th Street; that portion of S.W. 33rd
Street; that portion of S.W. 32nd Court; that portion of S.W. 31st Street; that
portion of S.W. 27th Street.
At this time the Commission approved these roads to be established as written
in the orders accompanying the respective roads and is further ordered that
the Deschutes County Surveyor shall file a plat of said road, as surveyed on the ground,
with the road records of Deschutes County.

Notice of Final Hearine Annexation to Rural Fire Protection District #2(Smith):
At this time the Commission approved a final hearing date for the above listed
matter for October 17, 1979 at 10:00 a.m. in Conference Room A.
IN THE MATTER OF
Abandonment of Public Access to a Portion of Sunnyside Boulevard in Brightenwood
Estates III and Woodside Ranch Phase VI:
At this time the Commission approved an order regarding reserve strips across

the stubbed ends of Sunnyside Boulevard as shown on the plats of Brightwood Estates
III and Woodside Ranch Phase VI.
IN THE MATTER OF
Savin Business Machines Corporation:
At this time the Commission approved the purchase of a Savin 790 copier,
Reduction SIN for $10,193.40 for the Road Department.
At this time the Commission approved the purchase of a Savin 770 copier,
SIN 590553689 for $6,775.20 for the Courthouse Annex.

Refund of Taxes:
At this time the Commission approved a refund for $1,436.20 to the City
of Prineville Railway as the Department of Revenue ordered the 1977-78 taxes
striken from the rolls.
IN THE MATTER OF
Resolution Transferring an appropriation within General Fund:
At this time the Commission approved an transfer of funds from the general fund
to the sheriff department for the cost of guards to be paid to deputies as services
are needed. Transfer amount: $1,500.00.

At this time the Commission approved estimated and actual costs of road im-
provement that has been completed in Rimrock West Subdivision. Objections will be
heard on October 22, 1979 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hearing Room in the Board of

At this time the Commission approved an order for the above zone change
subject to the findings of fact that were submitted to them by the Planning Staff.

At this time the Commission approved an order for the above zone change

Planned Unit Development Subdivision Improvement and Maintenance Agreement:
At this time the Commission entered into an agreement with Sunriver Properties,
Inc. for the improvement and maintenance of those lands which he agrees to construct
upon and operate upon.

Amending Appropriation Orders Dated July 6, 1979,
Adopting Budget, Levying Taxes and Making Appropriations:
At this time the Commission approved the above appropriations and budget
and certify to the County Clerk and to the County Assessor, Deschutes County, Oregon
the tax levy made by this resolution and shall file a copy of the budget as it is
finally adopted.
IN THE MATTER OF
Lease -Rental Agreemnt and Deposit Receipt:
At this time the commission received from the Deschutes County Family Coun-
seling Clin(Jane Kirkpatrick) $375.00 for rent for the period of October 1, 1979
to November 1, 1979 for the Family Counseling Clinic Offices.
IN THE MATTER OF
Women's Health Care Specialist Services Contract:
At this time the Commission entered into a service contract with Dorlee
D. Kingen, R.N., to provide services applicable to her during the period of July
13, 1979 through June 30, 1980.
At this time the Commission entered into a service contract with Dorothy
Twedt, R.N., to provide services applicable to her during the period of July
1, 1979 through June 30, 1980.
IN THE MATTER OF
Sunrise Village:
At this time the Commission.adopted findings of fact in the formation
of Sunrise Village as presented by Bob Lovlien.
IN THE MATTER OF
Request for Variance for Richard & Cheryl Mickle, Applicant:
At this time the Commission approved a variance in the paving of a road
in the Sand Lilly Estates into a cul-de-sac.
IN THE MATTER OF
Initiated Change of Zone
from A-1 Exclusive Agriculture to AR -1
Exclusive Agricultural UBC
At this time the Commission approved an order to amend an April 2, 1979 order
in its description of AREA 3 to read as follows: Sections 21,22,27 and 28 and that
part of Sections 26 and (15) 25 lying South of the Bend -Sisters highway, in Township
16 South, Range 11 East, Willamette Meridian; located North and South of the Couch
Market Road."

At this time the Commission approved a resolution to levy taxes in
the aggregate amount of $620,000.00 to be credited to the Debt Service Fund of
Administrative School District #1 for the 1979 bond issue interest payment due
