BE IT REMEMBERED, That at a regular'meeting of the County Commission
held this 7th day of November, with all three Commissioners present, the
following business was transacted and approved noted from November 7, 1979
through November 21, 1979.
IN THE MATTER OF
Annexation to Hillman Sanitary District:
At this time the Commission approved an order to annex lots 3
through 30 inclusive etc. to Hillman Addition Sanitary District.
IN THE MATTER OF
Editorial and Clerical Errs in County Ordinance PL -15:
At this time the Commission approved an order correcting clerical
erros in Ordinance P1-15 in the copy that was sent to the printer.
IN THE MATTER OF
The Establishment of those portions of: Springcrest Drive; Chuckanut Drive;
Hiller Drive; Dover -Lane; Gunwood Lane; Holly Court; Volare Lane; Targee
Drive:
At this time the Commission approved orders for the above referenced
roads for hearing to be set for November 21, 1979 for purpose of _hearing
objections or remonstrances to the action taken.
IN THE MATTER OF
An Extension of Time for Recording the Final Plat for Preliminary Plat 4417,
King's Forest, Third Addition:
At this time the Commission approved an order granting an extension
of time to the application of King's Forest as the Central Oregon Irrigation
District has refused to sign the final plat. This extension is for 60 days or
until further order by the Board, whichever occurs first.
IN THE MATTER OF
Annexation to Sisters Rural Fire Pr6tection District:
At this time the Commission approved a resolution setting December
5, 1979 at 10:00 a.m, as the hearing date and.time for the purpose of receiving
any protests to the proposed annexations by any interested persons.
IN THE MATTER OF
Zone Change Request by Morrie Barackman from A-1, Exclusive Agriculture to C-2,
General Commercial:
At this time the Commission approved a zone change in the above -
referenced matter based on the decision of the hearings officer on July 23,
1979 and based on their own legal findings.
IN THE MATTER OF
Correcting Clerical Errors on the County Zoning Map:
At this time the Commission approved an order correcting a clerical
error made on the County Zoning Map regarding an area designated an F-2
zone when it should have been RR -10.

Residential and Other Construction in EFU Zones and on Substantial Sized Lots:
At this time the Commission approved a resolution elucidating policies
previously adopted by the Board concerning single family residences and non-
farm second residences on the same lot.
IN THE MATTER OF
Right of Services Agreement:
At this time the Commission entered into an agreement between Deschutes
County and the State of Oregon Department of Transportation for construction
of roads as set out in the agreement.
IN THE MATTER OF
Correction and Transfer of Funds:
At this time the Commission signed an order correcting the transfer
of funds from Road Capitol outlay to Materials and Services.

Personnel Actions:
Terminated Jackie Lynn Boyle from the Family Council Clinic effective
September 19, 1979 from full time work. Rehired for part-time work 11/6/79.
Terminated Nancy Carol McCoy from District Court effective..October 30, 1979.
Placed Dana LaFoy Clason on the District Court payroll at $548 per month
effective November 6, 1979 as a new hire.
Terminated Betty G. Reichard from Sanitation effective No■*ember 1, 1979.
Placed Leo Luciano Lolito on the Jail payroll at $843.00 per -month
effective November 5, 1979 as a new hire.
Terminated Robert D. Gerber from the Jail effective November 2, 1979.
Placed Kimberly D. Peddicord on the Assessor's payroll at $548.00
per month effective November 7, 1979 as a new hire.
Placed Raymond Bennett on the Assessor's payroll at $1,170 per.month
effective November 5, 1979 as part-time extra help as a new hire.
Placed Jerry Michael Cooper on the Sheriff's payroll at $1,034.00 per
month effective November 1, 1979 as regular county employee.
Placed Hiltje Hubbard on the GH Medical Nursing payroll at $1,493 per
month effective November 1, 1979 as a merit increase.
Placed Susan L. Kyrzanek on the Family Counseling Clinic payroll at
$3.91 per hour effective November 19, 1979 -as a new hire.
Placed Katherine Kocurek on the Family Counseling Clinic payroll at
$1,257 per month effective November 14, 1979 as a new hire.
