Permit Applications for the Redmond ) O R D E R
Urban Area )
WHEREAS the Board adopted a Comprehensive Plan for the Redmond Urban Area
(PL-18) and a revised zoning ordinance (PL-19) on November 9, 1979, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of Redmond has asked that all land use
decisions including issuance of building permits conform to the Redmond Urban
Area Comprehensive Plan,
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that all land use decisions affecting
property within the Redmond Urban Growth Boundary including the issuance of building
permits shall conform to the terms of the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Ordinances
adopted by the City of Redmond and Deschutes County on November 9, 1979.
This order shall become effective when the Redmond City Council passes a
resolution to share equally the cost of legal defense of any action arising from
the denial of any building permits within the Redmond Urban Growth Boundary
established by County Ordinance PL-18 and outside the Redmond City Limits for
purposes of compliance with ordinances PL-14, 18 and 19,
