This matter having come before the regular term of the Board of the County
Commissioners for Deschutes County on December ' t , 1979, on the advice of
Louis Dvorak, County Counsel, and Rainse Anderson, P.E., of Century West Engineering
Corporation, an agent of the City of Redmond, a municipal corporation, the Board
finds as follows:
1. On October 1, 1977, the Board of County Commissioners conveyed the lands
described below, among others, to the City of Redmond, a municipal corporation,
for public purposes.
2. Century West Engineering Corporation, as agent for the City of Redmond,
has requested that the conveyance of Parcel No. 1 in that deed be corrected to show
that the public purposes specified therein include industrial facilities as defined
by ORS 271.510(2) in order that certain F.A.A. approvals for developments of the
area may be obtained.
3. Since the requested changes in the deeds under the Oregon law will not add
to the estate previously granted to the City of Redmond in the below-described prop-
erty from that which was intended in the deed of October 31, 1977, it is in the
public interest to convey the below-described lands, not needed for public use by
Deschutes County.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
The Board of County Commissioners shall forthwith convey to the City of
Redmond the following described property not needed for public use so long as the
City of Redmond uses it for public purposes, including, but not limited to, those

specified in ORS 271.510--271.530:
A tract of land containing 2.4 acres, more or less, located in the
Southwest one-quarter of the Southeast one-quarter (SW 1/4 SE 1/4) of
Section Twenty-one (21), Township Fifteen (15) South, Range Thirteen
(13) East of the Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon, being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said SW 1/4 SE 1/4; thence
Northerly along the East line of said SW 1/4 SE 1/4 a distance of
345 feet more or less to the Northwesterly boundary line of the
Redmond Municipal Airport; thence South 60°31' West along an exten-
sion of said Northwesterly boundary line a distance of 700 feet more
or less to the South line of said Section 21; thence Easterly along
said South line a distance of 615 feet more or less to the point of
beginning and terminus of this description.
Subject to: All easements, restrictions, and rights-of-ways of record.
