27-319-Resolution Recorded 6/7/1978VOL 27 PACE 319 IN THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE STATE OF OREGON FOR THE COUNTY OF DESCHUTES In the Matter ) of ) R E S O L U T I O N Bridge Load Limit ) Postings ) WHEREAS, this matter coming before the Deschutes County Board of Commissioners upon the petition of the Deschutes County Road Department and, WHEREAS, the Deschutes County Board of Commissioners recognizes that it is the county's responsibility to revise and post the recommended bridge load limit, as required by AASHTO Design Standards, for all bridges except General Patch and Masten Bridges, and, WHEREAS, it is proposed that General Patch and Masten Bridges be allowed a load limit of 12 tons due to severe deck deterioration and, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Deschutes County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Deschutes County Road Department to post signs stating the load limits on the bridges per attached sheet. DATED THIS 7th day of June, 1978, as approved by the District Attorney.
