Luke and Tom DeWolf; Commissioner Michael M. Daly was out of the office. Also present were Tom Blust and George Kolb, Road Department; Timm Schimke, Solid Waste Department; media representative Barney Lerten of bend. com and The Bugle; and three citizens. Vice Chair Luke opened the meeting at 10: 00 a.m. 1. Before the Board was Citizen Input. Tony Aceti asked who is handling things in the Planning Department, with George Read still out. Vice Chair Luke explained that Tom Anderson, Kevin Harrison, Catherine Morrow and Dennis Perkins are overseeing different aspects of Community Development for the time being. 2. Before the Board was a Public Hearing regarding the Legalization of a Portion of Twin Bridges Road. George Kolb said that the legalization process was started in 1990 but never completed. One person called with a few questions about the documents. This doesn't change the layout of the road. Vice Chair Luke opened the public hearing. LUKE: Vice Chair votes yes. 4. Before the Board was Consideration of Signature of a Quitclaim Deed regarding an Unused Right -of -Way Due to Realignment of Twin Bridges Road. DEWOLF: Move approval. LUKE: Second. VOTE: DEWOLF: Yes. LUKE: Vice Chair votes yes. CONVENED AS THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE 9-1-1 COUNTY SERVICE DISTRICT 5. Before the Board was Consideration of Approval of Weekly Accounts Payable Vouchers for the 9-1-1 County Service District in the Amount of $13,190.36 (for two weeks). DEWOLF: Move approval. LUKE: Second. VOTE: DEWOLF: Yes. LUKE: Vice Chair votes yes. CONVENED AS THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE EXTENSION/4-11 COUNTY SERVICE DISTRICT 6. Before the Board was Consideration of Approval of Weekly Accounts Payable Vouchers for the Extension/4-11 County Service District in the Amount of $7,761.19 (for two weeks). Before the Board was Consideration of Approval of Weekly Accounts Payable Vouchers for Deschutes County in the Amount of $2,233,216.06 (for two weeks). DEWOLF: Move approval. LUKE: Second. VOTE: DEWOLF: Yes. LUKE: Vice Chair votes yes. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA 8. Before the Board was Consideration of Chair Signature of Document No. 2004-219, an Emergency Shelter Grant Document regarding Housing Assistance to Tri -County Residents, through COCAAN. Chair Luke gave an overview of this document, which is the County's acknowledgment of this grant. DEWOLF: Move approval of Vice Chair signature. LUKE: Second. VOTE: DEWOLF: Yes.
