IN THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
In the Matter of the
Establishment of all of
DEER TRAIL ROAD
OF THE STATE OF OREGON
FOR THE COUNTY OF DESCHUTES
RESOLUTION
Be It Remembered, that at a term of the Board of County Commissioners,
begun and held at the County Courthouse in Bend, in said County on th.i,s 31st day
of August, 1977 and continued from day to day thereafter to and including the
date of the Resolution the same being a term of said Board of County Commissioners
sitting for the transaction of County business, and at which time said Board of
County Commissioners may, by Resolution, propose any county road, the following
among other proceedings was had, to -wit:
WHEREAS, it is hereby considered that a public necessity exists for the
establishment of the road hereinafter described, said Board of County Commissioners
does hereby declare its intention to establish a county road in Deschutes County,
Oregon, by Resolution, described as follows, to -wit:
A strip of land 60.00 feet in width, being 30.00 feet on each side of
the following described centerline, located in the northwest quarter of
Section 32, Township 17 South., Range 13 East, W.M., Deschutes County,
Oregon, said centerline described as follows:
Commencing at the west quarter corner of said Section 32, thence S 890
56'19" E 858.60 feet to the point of beginning; thence N 0°06'44" W,
along said centerline, a distance of 2,008.09 feet; thence northwesterly
along the arc of a curve having a radius of 286.64 feet, a chord which
bears N 14°11'44" W 139.50 feet, a distance of 140.91 feet; thence
N 28016'45" W 48.10 feet; thence northerly along the arc of a curve,
having a radius of 104.23 feet, a chord which bears N 0106'44" W 98.40
feet, a distance of 102.48 feet; thence N 28003117" E 48.10 feet;
thence northeasterly along the arc of a curve, having a radius of
286.64 feet, a chord which bears N 13°58117" E 139.50 feet, a distance
of 140.91 feet; thence N 0006'44" W 181.66 feet to a point on the
southerly right-of-way line of Alfalfa Market Road, from which the
northwest corner of said Section 32 lies N 0006'44" W 30.00 feet and
N 89054'04" W 661.54 feet.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the County Roadmaster or his
duly qualified deputy, shall give notice of this Resolution by posting true copies
thereof, properly certified to by the County Clerk, at the place of holding County
Court and also at three public places in the vicinity of said proposed road thirty
days previous to the consideration of this Resolution by the Board of County
Commissioners, notifying all persons concerned that said Resolution will be
considered and passed upon by this Board of County Commissioners at a meeting on
the 5th day of October, 1977 at which time the Board of County Commissioners will
consider any objections or remonstrances which. may be filed on account of said
proposed road.
