This matter having come before the Board of Commissioners
upon the petition of more than 10% of the property owners within the
area described below, and a public hearing having been held on the 6th
day of April, 1977 at 10:00 a.m. in Conference Room "A", and again on
the 4th day of May, 1977 at 10:00 a.m. in Conference Room "A" Court-
house Annex, Bend, Oregon and the Commission having taken the matter
under advisement, and having determined at the regular Commission session
on May 4, 1977, that the petition should be granted:
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
(1) A special road district be established within the following
exterior boundary:
Commencing at the NW Corner of the NE4 of Section 14;
Township 21 South, Range 10 East Willamette Meridian;
thence Southerly along the West line of the NE4 of
Section 14, to the SW corner of the NEk of Section 14;
thence Westerly along the North line of the SW4 of
Section 14,,to the NW corner of the E2 of the SW4 of
Section 14; thence Southerly along the West line of the
E2 of the SW4 of the SW corner of the E2 of the SW-,, of
Section 14; thence Easterly along the section line be-
tween Section 14 and Section 23 to the NW corner of the
NE4 of Section 23; thence Southerly along the West line
of the NE4 of Section 23 to the NE corner of the SE4
of the NW-;, of Section 23; thence Westerly along the
North line of the SE4 of the NW4 of Section 23 to the
NW Corner of the SE4 of the NE4 of Section 23; thence
Southerly along the West line of the SE4 of the NW4
and the NE4 of the SWk of Section 23 to the SW corner
of the NE4 of the SW4 of Section 23; thence Easterly
along the South line of the NV,- of the SW4 of Section
23 to the SE corner of the NE4 of the SW4 of Section 23;
thence Southerly along the West line of the SE-,- of
Section 23 and the NE4 of Section 26 to the NE corner
of the SE4 of the NW4 of Section 26; thence Westerly
along the North line of the SE4 of the NW,;, of Section
26 to the NW corner of the SE4 of the NW4 of Section
26; thence Southerly along the West line of the SE4
of the NW4 of Section 26 and the NE4 of the SW4 of
Section 26 to the SW corner of the NE4 of the SW4 of
Section 26; thence Easterly along the South line of
the NE4 of the SW4 of Section 26 to the SE corner of
the NE4 of the SW4 of Section 26; thence Southerly
along the West line of the SE4 of Section 26 and the

NE4 of Section 35 to the intersection with the centerline
of the Little Deschutes River; thence downstream and
Northerly along the centerline of the Little Deschutes
River to its intersection with the lot line between
Lots 11 and 12 Block 3 of the Lazy River South subdivi-
sion; thence leaving the centerline of the Little Deschutes
River along the lot line between said Lots 11 and 12 to
its intersection with the northerly right-of-way line
of Riverview Drive; thence easterly along the northerly
right-of-way line of Riverview Drive to its intersection
with the East line of the NW4 of the SW4 of Section 13,
Township 21 South, Range 10, East of the Willamette
Meridian; thence Northerly along the East line of the
NW k of the SW 4 and the E k of the NW4 of Section 13 to
the Section line between Sections 12 and 13; thence
Westerly along the Section line between Sections 12
and 13 and along the Section line between Sections 11
and 14 to the point of beginning.
(2) The name of said special road district shall be Special
Road District No. 4.
(3) The following persons, being qualified under the terms
of subsection (1) ORS 371.388, are appointed as Commissioners of said
special road district to serve the term of office as indicated:
Herb Taylor residing at 53939 Pine Grove Rd, LaPine,
Oregon, term expiring December 31, 1980.
John Roelke residing at 16696 North Sprague Loop, LaPine,
Oregon, term expiring December 31, 1979.
Rex Garrett residing at 53471 Bridge Drive, LaPine,
Oregon, term expiring December 31, 1978.
