In the Matter

Transfer of County
Land to the City
of Redmond
R E S O L U T I O N
Under the provisions of ORS 271.330, subject to Public
Hearings and approval, and a valid appraisal price per acre,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that Deschutes County intends to
convey to the City of Redmond, Deschutes County, Oregon an
adequate amount of the following described land to provide a
local match for federal funding of the airport expansion.
PARCEL NO. 1:
A tract of land containing 2.4 acres, more or less, located
in the Southwest one-quarter of the Southeast one-quarter
(SW 1/4, SE 1/4) of Section Twenty-one (21), Township Fifteen
(15) South, Range Thirteen (14) East of the Willamette Mer-
idian, Deschutes County, Oregon being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said SW 1/4,
SE 1/4; thence Northerly along the East line of
said SW 1/4, SE 1/4 a distance of 345 feet more
or less to the Northwesterly boundary line of the
Redmond Municipal Airport; thence South 60°31'
West along an extension of said Northwesterly
boundary line a distance of 700 feet more or less
to the South line of said Section 21; thence
Easterly along said South line a distance of
615 feet more or less to the point of beginning
and terminus of this description.
Subject to: All easements, restrictions, and rights -of
ways of record.
PARCEL NO. 2:
A tract of land containing 36.5 acres, more or less, located
in the Northwest one-quarter of the Northeast one-quarter
(NW 1/4, NE 1/4) of Section Twenty-eight (28), Township Fifteen

(15) South, Range Thirteen (13) East, of the Willamette Meridian,
Deschutes County, Oregon, being moreparticularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said NW 1/4,
NE 1/4; thence Westerly along the North line of
said Section 28 a distance of 615 feet more or
less to the intersection with the Southwesterly
extension of the Northwesterly boundary line of
the Redmond Municipal Airport; thence South
60°31' West along said extended Northwesterly
boundary line a distance of 835 feet more or less
to the West line of said NW 1/4, NE 1/4; thence
Southerly along said West line a distance of 890
feet more or less to the Southwest corner of
said NW 1/4, NE 1/4; thence Easterly along the
South line of said NW 1/4, NE 1/4 a distance of
1320 feet more or less to the Southeast corner
of said NW 1/4, NE 1/4; thence Northerly along
the East line of said NW 1/4, NE 1/4 a distance
of 1320 feet more or less to the point of be-
ginning and terminus of this description.

PARCEL NO. 3
A tract of land containing 5.6 acres, more or less, located
in the Northwest one-quarter (NW 1/4) of Section Twenty-eight
(28), Township Fifteen (15) South, Range Thirteen (13) East
of the Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon, being
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the North one-quarter (N 1/4) corner
of said Section 28; thence Southerly along the East
line of said NW 1/4 a distance of 430 feet more or
less to the intersection with a line that is the
Southwesterly extension of the Northwesterly boundary
line of the Redmond Municipal Airport, said point
of intersection being also the true point of be-
ginning of this description; thence South 60031'
West along said extended Northwesterly boundary
line a distance of 530 feet; thence South 29129'
East a distance of 915 feet more or less to the
intersection with the East line of said NW 1/4;

PARCEL NO. 4
A tract of land containing 1.6 acres, more or less, located
in the Southeast one-quarter (SE 1/4) of Section Twenty-eight
(28), Township Fifteen (15 South, Range Thirteen (13) East
of the Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon, being
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the North one-quarter (N 1/4) corner
of said Section 28; thence Southerly along the East
line of the NW 1/4 of said Section 28 a distance
of 430 feet more or less to the intersection with
a line that is the Southwesterly extension of the
Northwesterly boundary line of the Redmond Municipal
Airport; thence South 60°31' West along said ex-
tended Northwesterly boundary line a distance of
530 feet; thence South 290291 East a distance of
2240 feet more or less to the intersection with the
North line of said SE 1/4, said point of intersection
being also the true point of beginning of this
description; thence continuing South 29029' East
a distance of 280 feet; thence North 60031' East
a distance of 485 feet, more or less, to the North
line of said SE 1/4; thence Westerly along said
North line a distance of 550 feet, more or less,
to the true point of beginning and terminus of
this description.
Subject to: All easements, restrictions, and rights-of
ways of record.
If said property ceases to be used for a public purpose,
it shall revert to the grantor.
