This matter coming before the County Board of Commissioners upon the Planning
Commission's recommendation, who held a public hearing on this issue,
February 9, 1977, and unanimously recommended approval,
And it appearing to the Board upon reviewing the Planning Commission record
in this matter that the following facts were established:
1. The site is predominantly tree covered which lends itself towards
development as a Planned Unit Development.
2. The density achdeved as a Planned Unit Development would be
commensurate with the density proposed in the Bend Urban Area
Comprehensive Plan.
3. The site is adjacent to an existing Planned Unit Development.
4. That the Planned Unit Development will be served by a sewer system.
5. That the area of the site South of the canal is not included in
this approval.
And it further appearing to the Board that these facts support the proposed
zone change, and
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the zoning of the following described property
be changed from A-1, Exclusive Agricultural to PD, Planned Unit Develop-
ment as shown on the attached map and described as follows:
T18S, R12E, tax-lot 4500 and T18S, R12E, Sec. 21, tax lot 600
off of Sipchen Road.
Done by the order of the Board of Commissioners this 2nd day of March, 1977,
to become effective immediately.
