This matter coming before the County Board of Commissioners upon the Planning
Commission's recommendation, who held a public hearing on this issue,
January 12, 1977, and unanimously recommended approval,
And it appearing to the Board upon reviewing the Planning Commission
record in this matter that the following facts were established:
1. The site is bordered on 2 sides by existing and proposed division
activity.
2. The site lies within the Bend Urban Growth Boundary and is designated
for suburban residential and is contiguous to an area designated as
urban residential.
3. King's Forest subdivision located to the Southwest was platted approx-
imately 1 year ago and is now 90% sold, thus demonstrating the need for
additional housing in this area.
And it further appearing to the Board that these facts support the proposed
zone change, and
The County Commission deeming this action to be in the public interest,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the zoning of the following described property
be changed from A-1, Exclusive Agricultural to SR-1, Suburban Residential,
as shown on the attached map and described as follows:
T18S, R12E, Section 10, tax lot 303, 402, 300, 200 and
400 on Reed Market Road.
Done by the order of the Board of Commissioners this 2nd day of February,
1977, to become effective immediately.
