O R D E R
This matter coming before the County Board of Commissioners upon the
Planning Commission's recommendation, who held a public hearing on
this issue, September 8, 1975, and unanimously recommended approval,
And it appearing to the Board upon reviewing the Planning Commission
record in this matter that the following facts were established:
1. This application is consistent with the adopted Bend Urban
Area Comprehensive Plan.
2. There are currently plans to improve Briggs Road which will
better facilitate traffic consistent with higher residential
densities already developed and proposed by the Comprehensive
Plan in this area.
And it further appearing to the Board that these facts support the
proposed zone change, and
The County Commission deeming this action to be in the public interest,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the zoning of the following described
property be changed from A-1, Exclusive Agricultural to R-1, Urban
Residential, as shown on the attached map and described as follows
subject to dedication of additional right-of-way to the County along
Briggs Road.
Township 17 South, Range 12 East, Section 20A, tax lot
1301 located on Briggs Road.
Done by the order of the Board of Commissioners this 20 day of October,
1976, to become effective immediately.
