This matter coming before the County Board of Commissioners upon
the Planning Commission's recommendation, who held a public
hearing on this issue, September 29, 1976, and unanimously
recommended approval,
And it appearing to the Board upon reviewing the Planning
Commission record in this matter that the following facts
were established:
1. The proposed development is situated in the Northerly
portion of the growth area and is within an area which
has a long-range plan for community sewer services.
2. This application is consistent with the adopted Bend Urban
Area Comprehensive Plan which calls for a development
alternative which would allow for urban density lots
with community sewers or individual drainfields with a
plan for re-subdivision.
And it further appearing to the Board that these facts support
the proposed zone change, and
The County Commission deeming this action to be in the
public interest,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the zoning of the following described
property be changed from A-1, Exclusive Agricultural to SR-1,
Suburban Residential, as shown on the attached map and described
as follows:
North of Boyd Acres Road and East of the Oregon Trunk
Railroad, T17S, R12E, Section 16, tax lot 126 and 115;
and T17S, R12E, Section 9, tax lot 1302 and 1303.
Done by the order of the Board of Commissioners this 20th day
of October, 1976, to become effective immediately.
