were present at the morning session. Commissioner Bob Montgomery was absent.
IN THE MATTER OF
AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO PL -6:
At this time the Commission ordered an amendment to Ordinance No. PL -6 which pertains
to enforcement of the County Zoning, Subdivision, and Solid Waste Ordinances. When originally
adopted this ordinance did not provide for enforcement of building code violations. This
amendment will provide for enforcement of building code violations.

APPOINTMENTS TO BOARD OF EQUALIZATION:

At this time the Commission appointed Bob Montgomery and Virgil Henkle to one year terms
on the Board of Equalization. Commissioner Montgomery represents the Board of Commissioners
on the board and Virgil Henkle represents the Budget board. They in term will appoint a third
member at large.
IN THE MATTER OF
LAND TRANSFER TO BEND METROPOLITAN PARKS AND RECREATION DISTRICT:
At this time the Commission ordered the transfer of lots 6 and 7 of the unrecorded Hunnell
Acre Tracts in Section 4, T. 18S., R. 12E. W.M. to Bend Metropolitan Parks and Recreation Dist.
for use as a park. There were no objections to said transfer at a hearing held August 18, 1976.
IN THE MATTER OF
MARINE PATROL FUNDS:
At this time the Commission ordered the Treasurer to borrow funds from the General Fund
to pay the Marine Patrol payroll and expenses pursuant to ORS 294.460 until funds are received
from the Oregon State Marine Board.
IN THE MATTER OF
FOREST PATROL FUNDS:
At this time the Commission ordered the Treasurer to borrow frunds from the General Fund
to pay the Forest Patrol payroll and expenses pursuant to ORS 294.460 until funds are received
from the Forest Service.

At this time the Commission entered into a lease agreement with Rheinholdt TV and Comm-
unications for property described per lease. Term of the lease is for 20 years with rent
to be $50 annually plus an additional sum of $50 per year for each person, partnership, or corp.
paying consideration for the use of the transmission equipment or structures located on the
property.

ESTABLISHMENT OF CHANGE FUND FOR TREASURER'S OFFICE:
At this time the Commission ordered a change fund be set up for the Treasurer's Office in
the amount of $200.00.

At this time the Commission granted a deed to Rimrock West Estates, Ltd. for property
described per deed dated August 24, 1976. Consideration is $625.00.

GRANTING QUITCLAIM DEED TO THE STATE OF OREGON, HIGHWAY DIVISION:
At this time the Commiaaion granted a Quitclaim deed to the State of Oregon, Highway
Division for property described per deed dated August 27, 1976. Consideration is none.

Placed Patricia T. Metelski on District Attorney payroll at $802 per month effective
Sept. 1, 1976 as a merit increase.
