This matter coming before the County Board of Commissioners
upon the Planning Commission's recommendation, who held a public
hearing on this issue, August 25, 1976, and unanimously
recommended approval, and
The County Commission deeming this action to be in the
public interest and consistent with the Comprehensive Plan
for Deschutes County,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the following amendment be
changed as follows:
Article 3. Exclusive Agricultural Zone A-1 Existing:
Section 3.220 Lot Size. In an A-1 zone the lot size shall
be as follows:
1. The minimum lot area shall be five (5) acres unless
the lot is located in a Class II Rural Subdivision as
approved by the Planning Commission pursuant to County
Subdivision Ordinance No. PL-2 providing for two and one-
half acre (2 1/2) lot sizes subject to meeting the
specified variance requirements. Class II Rural lot
size provisions may be applied to a division of land
into less than four (4) lots or a Planned Unit Develop-
ment. Upon application for a variance, the Planning
Director may approve a Class II lot division.
Change as follows:
