Pursuant to the provision of Oregon Revised Statutes 198.775 (2), a petition with the required number of signatures has been filed with the Deschutes County Board of Commissioners resolving that proceedings to annex certain territory located in Deschutes County, Oregon more particularly described as follows, be initiated: Beginning at a point 426.98 ft. south and 472.55 ft. west from the the N.E. corner of the N.W. 4 of the SE -1, of Section 36, T14S, R 12 E.W.M., thence S 72007' W 627.05 ft., thence N 0007' E 370.00 ft. to the center line of the Deschutes River; thence along said center line N 78042' E 550.03 ft. thence S 11014' E 290.70 ft. to the point of beginning, containing 4.37 acres. Subject to all existing easements and rights of way. This action has the approval of the Board of Directors of Rural Fire Protection District #1. Section 11. On the 1st day of December, 1976 at 10:00 a.m. at the Deschutes County Courthouse Annex, Bend, Oregon, Conference Room A, a Hearing will be held by the Deschutes Co. Commissioners for the purpose of receiving any protests to the proposed annexation by any interested persons. All interested persons may appear and be heard. Section 111. The petitioners desire to annex said property to Rural Fire Protection District #1 for the following reasons: The territory is contiguous to the present district boundaries. The proposed annexation will contribute to the orderly growth and development of both the district and the territory proposed to be annexed. Section 1V. The Deschutes County Commissioners will cause to be posted this notice of said Hearing in at least three public places and published in two insertions in a newspaper of general circulation within the area to be annexed. Section V. Approval of the Resolution for annexation by the Deschutes County Commissioners as presented or modified will result in an Order being entered so declaring and fixing a place and time not less than 20 nor more than 50 days after the date of the Order for a Final Hearing on the Resolution. The order shall declare that if written requests for an election are not filed in accordance with ORS 198.810 (2), the Commissioners will at the time of the Final Hearing enter their Order author- izing the proposed annexation.
