This matter coming before the County Board of Commissioners upon the
Planning Commission's recommendation who held a public hearing on this
issue, November 26, 1975, and unanimously recommended approval, and,
The County Commission deeming this action to be in the public
interest and consistent with the Comprehensive Plan for Deschutes County,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the following amendment be adopted:
Deschutes County Zoning Ordinance No. PL-5:
Article 11. Administrative Provisions
Section 11.020 Appeal from Ruling of the Planning Commission.
Existing:
An action or ruling of the Planning Commission pursuant to this
ordinance may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners
within 15 days after Planning Commission action. Written notice
of the appeal shall be filed within the 15-day period, the
Planning Commission shall make a written report and recommendation
to the Board of Commissioners. The Board of Commissioners shall
hold a public hearing on the appeal.
Change as follows:
An action or ruling of the Planning Commission pursuant to this
ordinance may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners
within 10 days after the Planning Commission action. Written
notice of the appeal shall be filed within the 10-day period,
the Planning Commission shall make a written report and
recommendation to the Board of Commissioners. The Board of
Commissioners shall hold a public hearing on the appeal.
Done by the order of--the Board of Commissioners this 17th day of
December, 1975, to become effective immediately.
