IN THE MATTER OF DESCHUTES COUNTY LAND SALE: A Deschutes County Land Sale was held February 6, 1976 by the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office. Eighteen parcels ranging in size from five acres to forty acres were sold. Two parcels were cash sales and the remaining sixteen were sold on contract. IN THE MATTER OF VACATION OF AN ALLEY IN BLOCK 28, LAPINE: At this time the Commission ordered the vacation of an alley in Block 28, Lapine as there were no objections at such hearing held Wednesday, March 3, 1976. IN THE MATTER OF VACATION OF A PORTION OF THE W.A. WILT ROAD: At this time the Commission ordered the vacation of a portion of the W.A. Wilt Road as described in order. IN THE MATTER OR ZONE CHANGE FROM A-1, EXCLUSIVE AGRICULTURAL, TO SR -1, SUBURBAN RESIDENTIAL: At this time the Commission ordered that the zone change from A-1, Exclusive Agricultural, to SR -1 Suburban Residential be granted for property described in order dated March 3, 1976. IN THE MATTER OF ZONE CHANGE FROM A-1, EXCLUSIVE AGRICULTURAL, TO SR -1, SUBURBAN RESIDENTIAL: At this time the Commission ordered that the zone change from A-1, Exclusive Agricultural, to SR -1, Suburban Residential be granted for property described in order dated March 3, 1976. IN THE MATTER OF NOTICE OF FINAL HEARING ON FORMATION OF LAZY RIVER SPECIAL ROAD DISTRICT: At this time the Commission ordered a Final Hearing on the formation of the Lazy River Special Road District to be held in the Deschutes County Courthouse Annex, Conference Room "A", Bend, Oregon, on April 7, 1976 at 10:00 a.m. Notice of this hearing shall be given by publication. IN THE MATTER OF FOREST RECEIPT FUNDS: At this time the Commission resolved to use the same formula as last year for the distribution of forest receipt monies to the cities of Deschutes County. This formula is described as per resolution. IN THE MATTER OF SALE OF ABUNDANT FOOD BUILDING TO CHARLES T. CHURCH: At this time the Commission sold to Charles T. Church the property commonly known as the Abundant Food Building on Greenwood for the sum of $47,000.00. a Ir VOL � r1 1Aut �X,F'1 IN THE MATTER OF 68 ABOLISHING JUSTICE COURT NUMBER TWO, DESCHUTES COUNTY: At this time the Commission ordered the abolishment of Justice Court Number 2, Deschutes County, Oregon, effective midnight, January 2, 1977 and all records, registers, dockets, boiks, papers, pleadings, causes, and actions and proceedings lodged, field, deposited or pending before said Court at that time shall be transferred to the District Court for Deschutes County, State of Oregon. IN THE MATTER OF GENERAL FUND ELECTION: At this time the Commission ordered that an election be held to permit a levy for financing the operation of the offices of Deschutes County on April 20, 1976. The maximum rate of the levy shall be fifty eight cents per thousand dollars of true cash value of taxable property. Said levy will be $404,312.00 outside the 6% limitation. IN THE MATTER OF SOLID WASTE ELECTION: At this time the Commission ordered that an election be held to permit a levy to provide funds for the disposal of solid waste in Deschutes County on April 20, 1976. The maximum rate of the levy shall be thrity one cents per thousand dollars of true cash value of taxable property per year. Said levy will be $217,775.00 outside the 6% limitation. IN THE MATTER OF LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVAL: At this time the Commission approved a retal malt beverage license for the Tumalo Tavern. IN THE MATTER OF PERSONNEL ACTION: At this time the Commission approved the following personnel action: Terminated Kathy Jo Apple from the Treasurer's Tax payroll effective February 28, 1976. Placed Ruth Ann Cook on Courthouse payroll at $436.00 per month, effective March 3, 1976 to replace Joslyn Houk on the switchboard. Terminated Alvin Becker, from the Road Dept. payroll effective March 1, 1976. Placed Joselyn Houk on the Treasurer's tax payroll at $481.00 per month as a reclassification action. Placed Joseph Aichele on the Road Dept. payroll at $614.00 per month effective March 1, 1976 as a six month merit increase. Placed Jerome Apple on the Assessors payroll at $1,000.00 pernDnth effective February 2, 1976 as a change in job classification. Terminated Caleb Douglas from the Assessors payroll effective March 2, 1976. Terminated Christine Elwing from the Assessors payroll effective March 5, 1976.
