VACATION OF MAIN STREET (LAPINE):
At this time the Commission acting upon the petition of Wyatt I. Rosenbaum, Admin-
istrative School District No. 1, Bend, Oregon resolved to vacate the following:
Main Street from the southerly right of way line of 1st Street to the northerly
right of way line of 2nd Street and being incorporated within the platted sub-
division of LaPine, as platted according to the official plat thereof, on file
in the office of the County Clerk.
It is therefore Ordered that copies of this Resolution, duly certified to as such by the
County Clerk, shall be posted in three (3) places along the road to be vacated, and that a
copy of Resolution be placed on the Bulletin Board in the entrance of the Deschutes County
Courthouse and Courthouse Annex, Bend, Oregon; that Wednesday, October 15, 1975 at 10:00
a. m. in the Deschutes County Courthouse Annex, Conference Room "A" Bend, Oregon be and the
same is hereby fixed as the time and place for the hearing of objections, if any therebe,
why said street should not be vacated.

AMENDMENTS TO PERSONNEL RULES AS ADOPTED JUNE 25, 1973:
At this time the Commission amended the Personnel Rules to include the following:
3.53 Exemptions to Overtime Pay: Add - 1110, 1135,2105,2106,2315,2410,2411,3420, and 4213.
8.52 Insurance for Part-time Employees: Part time employees will become eligible for health
insurance coverage on the first day of the month following completion of thirty (30)
days of employment with the County if they average less than 100 hours per month.
Coverage on part-time employees will be limited to the employee. If employee desires
additional family coverage, they may option at their own expense for this coverage.
Any part-time employee covered for more than employee on the date of this resolution
will be carried at that coverage until he or she terminates. (Any person working
part-time over 100 hours per month will be considered, for the purpose of this
subsection, a full time employee).
8.22 Mileage Allowance: Mileage allowance will not be authorized or paid for on any trips
that exceed a fifty (50) mile radius of the county seat, without prior approval by the
Board of Commissioners. If authorization is granted to use a private vehicle when a
county vehicle is not available, mileage shall be paid at the rate of .15 cents per
mile. However, if a county vehicle is available but a request is made to use a private
vehicle, mileage will be paid only on a one way basis. (2 mileage)
