21-256-Ordinance No. 203-1-A Recorded 9/3/1975r VOL fAq o 1 BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS 2 COUNTY OF DESCHUTES 3 STATE OF OREGON 41n the Matter of an Or-dinante) Regulating the Control and ) COUNTY ORDINANCE 5 Disposition of Dogs within ) Deschutes County ) No. 203-1-A 6 7 THE COUNTY COMMISSION OF DESCHUTES COUNTY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: 8 That Deschutes County Ordinance No. 203-1, enacted on 9 March 5, 1975 shall be amended as follows: 10 There shall be added to Section 1, sub-paragraph 8, as follows: 11 "(8) Participate with two or more other mature dogs in running at large on public property or private 12 property other than that of the owner of the dog." 13 A paragraph shall be added as Section 8, as follows: 14 "Section 8 15 Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 2 through 7 of this ordinance, if a dog violates Section 1, paragraph 8, 16 of this ordinance, the persons authorized to impound dogs under Section 2 of this act, shall be authorized to shoot, 17 or otherwise humanely dispose of, said dog after exhausting 18 all reasonable methods of taking up and impounding said dog." 19 Section 8 shall be renumbered Section 9. 20 Section 9 shall be renumbered Section 10. 0 WW31% 21 There shall be added Section 11, as follows: Ye 0 0 W ~ > Z m OM WaZUW 2 "Section 11 JF,,Z U 0 0 0 N=0" °W 23 SEVERANCE CLAUSE.
