7 THE COUNTY COMMISSION OF DESCHUTES COUNTY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
8 That Deschutes County Ordinance No. 203-1, enacted on
9 March 5, 1975 shall be amended as follows:
10 There shall be added to Section 1, sub-paragraph 8, as follows:
11 "(8) Participate with two or more other mature dogs in
running at large on public property or private
12 property other than that of the owner of the dog."
13 A paragraph shall be added as Section 8, as follows:
14 "Section 8
15 Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 2 through 7 of
this ordinance, if a dog violates Section 1, paragraph 8,
16 of this ordinance, the persons authorized to impound dogs
under Section 2 of this act, shall be authorized to shoot,
17 or otherwise humanely dispose of, said dog after exhausting
18 all reasonable methods of taking up and impounding said dog."
19 Section 8 shall be renumbered Section 9.
20 Section 9 shall be renumbered Section 10.

N=0" °W 23 SEVERANCE CLAUSE. If any section, sub-section, provision,

J°°m~ 24 clause or paragraph of this ordinance shall be adjudged or
W declared by any Court of competent jurisdiction to be
25 unconstitutional or invalid, such judgment shall not affect
the validity of the remaining portion of this ordinance;
26 and it is hereby expressly declared that every other
section, sub-section, provision, clause or paragraph of this

1 ordinance enacted, irrespective of the enactment or 1(
validity of the portion hereof declared to be VOL 21 FACE
2 unconstitutional or invalid, is valid."
3 There shall be added Section 12, as follows:
4 "Section 12
5 This ordinance being necessary to insure the public health,
safety and welfare, an emergency is declared to exist and this
6 ordinance shall be effective immediately upon passage.
