COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 203-5 PROVIDING FOR THE REGULATION OF THE DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS:
At this time the
Commission adopted County Ordinance No. 203-5 Providing for the
Regulation
of the Discharge of Fi
rearms within certain Unincorporated Ateas of Deschutes County.
Because
this ordinance has an
emergency clause it becomes effective immediately.

510 GRANT PAYROLL:
At this time the
Commission Ordered the Treasurer to borrow from the General Fund
to pay
the 510 Grant payroll
and expenses pursuant to ORS 294.460 until such time as reimburs
ement
funds are received fro
m the State Mental Health Division.

LAND EXCHANGE FOR VACATED HOSPITAL PROPERTY:
VOL 21 FADE 333
At this time the Commission Resolved to enter into negotiations with the St. Charles
Hospital Board of Trustees for a possible exchange of vacant county land for the old hospital
property.
IN THE MATTER OF
CONTRACT WITH DESCHUTES COUNTY FAIR ASSOCIATION:
At this time the Commission on behalf of the Deschutes County Road Department, entered
into a sales contract with the Deschutes County Fair Association for the purchase of real
property for the Fair Association. Contract price is $16,980.00 to be paid at the rate of
$1,000.00 per year plus interest.
IN THE MATTER OF
LAND EXCHANGE WITH PAUT T. ERB.:
Because there were no objections to the proposed land exchange with Paul T. Erb, the
Commission Ordered said exchange be made.
IN THE MATTER OF
REFUND OF TAXES:
At this time the Commission Ordered the following refund of taxes be made:
First Federal Savings & Loan Assn. Taxes paid on wrong property
Equitable Savings Taxes paid on wrong account
IN THE MATTER OF
GRANTING GRAZING LEASE TO WILLIAM S. PREWITT:

At this time the Commission granted a grazing lease to William S. Prewitt for 320 acres.
Fee is $64.00 per year, price includes .10 an acre for Juniper Fire Protection.
IN THE MATTER OF
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT:
At this time the Commission entered into an agreement with Laborers Local 915 to amend
the original contract to include only Sheriff Dept. employees and delete the Tax Office employees
from the Union Contract.
IN THE MATTER OF
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH ASSESSOR'S OFFICE:
At this time the Commission entered into an agreement with Laborers Local 915 for wage
increases of the Assessor's office employees. The increase agreed upon was 10%, the amount
received in July by the entire county.

At this time the Commission entered into an agreement with Manpower Consortium to administer
the funds and records of CETA Title II and VI employees.

VACATION OF STREETS IN TUMALO:
At this time the Commission acting upon the petition of Tumalo School District No. 2J,
resolved to vacate the following, to wit:
Bruce Avenue from the westerly thirty (30) feet of Bruce Avene, Laidlaw, from the
Southerly R/W line of Third Street to the Southerly R/W line of Second Street.
Wood Avenue all that portion of Wood Avenue, Laidlaw, from the Southerly line of
Lot 10, Block 9 to the Southerly R/W line of Third Street.

It is therefore Ordered that copies of these resolutions, duly certified to as such by
the County Clerk, shall be posed in three (3) places along the road to be vacated, and that a
copy of these resolutions be placed on the Bulletin Board in the entrance of the Deschutes
County Courthouse and Courthouse Annex, Bend, Oregon; that Wednesday, November 5, 1975 at
10:00 a.m. at the Deschutes County Courthouse Annex, Conference Room "A", Bend, Oregon be and
the same is hereby fixed as the time and place for the hearing of objections, if any therebe,
why said road should not be vacated.

CONSTRUCTION-FINANCE AGREEMENT FAS PROJECT - CONSTRUCTION OF THE BURLINGTON NORTHERN OVER-
CROSSING (CAMP ABBOT) BRIDGE:
At this time the Commission entered into an agreement with the State for the Construction
of a bridge (Camp Abbot). County and State shall each contribute 50% to the actual total cost
of the project.

Redmond, Oregon, according to the official plat therof on file with the Clerk of Deschutes
County, Oregon. The true and actual consideration for this transfer is $6,010.00.
