At this time the Commission noted that Louis Selken, Dave Hoerning, Charles L. Plummer,
Sheridan Fahnestock, Bill Pickerel, Robert F. Journagan, Phyllis A. Journagan, Ron Bryant,

AN ELECTION:
At this time the Commission ordered an Election to be held Nov. 4, 1975 to permit the
voters of Deschutes County, excluding residents of incorporated cities within the County to
approve or reject County Ordinance No. 203-3, providing for a levy of a 5% tax on transient
occupants of hotels and similar accomodations.
IN THE MATTER OF
DESIGNATING A NEWSPAPER OF GENERAL CIRCULATION FOR PUBLICATION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX WARRANTS:
At this time the Commission designated the Bulletin as the newspaper of general circulation
for the publication of personal property tax warrants.

CLOSING DEQ TRUST FUND:
At this time the Commission ordered the County Treasurer to close the DEQ Trust Fund
and transfer the balance of $265.00 into the General Fund.
IN THE MATTER OF
FORMING OREGON WATER WONDERLAND UNIT II SANITARY DISTRICT:
At this time the Commission who held a public hearing September 17, 1975, ordered the
formation of Oregon Water Wonderland Unit II Sanitary District. Syd Gross, Dan Heierman and
Ronald L. Bryant were appointed as Directors.
IN THE MATTER OF
RE-ESTABLISHMENT OF FEDERAL AID URBAN BOUNDARY:
At this time the Commission resolved to re-establish the Federal Aid Urban Boundaries so
that the city of Bend can qualify for monies for street improvements.
IN THE MATTER OF
AMENDMENT TO CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN AS ADOPTED JUNE 25, 1973:
At this time the Commission amended the Classification and Pay Plan as Adopted June 25,
1973 by making the following changes:

GRANTING DEED TO PAUL T. ERB:
At this time the Commission granted deed to Paul T. Erb in exchange for property of
equal value.
IN THE MATTER OF
PAUL T. ERB GRANTING DEED TO DESCHUTES COUNTY:
At this time Paul T. Erb granted deed to Deschutes County in exchange for property of
equal value.
IN THE MATTER OF
GRANTING RIGHT OF WAY EASEMENT TO CENTRAL ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC.:
At this time the Commission granted an easement to Central Electric Cooperative for the
purpose of installing electric transmission or distribution line or system.
IN THE MATTER OF
ADOPTING COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 203-3 LEVYING A 5010' TRANSIENT ROOM TAX:
At this time the Commission adopted ordinance No. 203-3 levying a 5% Transient Room Tax
in the unincorporated areas of Deschutes County. An election will be held Nov. 4, 1975 for
the voters to approve or reject said ordinance.
IN THE MATTER OF
ADOPTING COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 203-6 REGULATING THE SIZE, LOCATION, NUMBER
AND CONSTRUCTION OF DRIVEWAY APPROACHES.
At this time the Commission adopted Ordinance No. 203-6 Regulating the size, location,
number and construction of Driveway approaches. This ordinance has an emergency clause so
it goes into effect immediately.
