This matter coming before the Board of County Commissioners upon the
petition of Laura Jean Elliott, Jacob M. Wolfe, and Harley E. Farris, Route 6
Box 575, Bend, Deschutes County, Oregon, requesting the vacation of an alley in
block 24 of Laidlaw (Tumalo).
And it further appearing that it is necessary to consider this vacation
for reasons of maintenance and access; and the Board of County Commissioners
feels this change should be made to serve the interests of all land owners in
this area.
IT IS, THEREFORE, HEREBY RESOLVED that it is the intention of the Board
of County Commissioners to vacate the following described alley, to wit:
All that portion of the alley running north and south between
Sixth and Seventh Streets, Block 24 in Laidlaw (Tumalo).
IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED that copies of this Resolution, duly certified
to as such by the County Clerk, shall be posted in three (3) places along the road
to be vacated, and that a copy of this Resolution be placed on the Bulletin Board
in the entrance of the Deschutes County Courthouse and Courthouse Annex, Bend,
Oregon; that Wednesday, May 21, 1975 at 10:00 a. m. at the Deschutes County Court-
house Annex, Conference Room "A", Bend, Oregon, be and the same is hereby fixed
as the time and place for the hearing of objections, if any therebe, why said
alley should not be vacated.
