This matter coming before the County Commission upon the Planning
Commission's recommendation who held a public hearing, and examined all
pertinent findings of fact, on this issue, September 24, 1975, and unan-
imously reccmiended approval, and
The County Commission deeming this action to be in the public
interest that a public need has been demonstrated in the evidence
contained in the Planning Commission documents and that the action is
consistent with the Comprehensive Plan for Deschutes County,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the zoning of the following described
property be changed from A-1, Exclusive Agricultural, to M-1-T, Light
Industrial as shown on the attached map and described as follows:
PARCEL A: That portion of the NW114 of Sec. 21, Township 17 South,
Range 12 East of the Willamette Meridian, lying South of the Kotzman
lateral, East of the Oregon Trunk Railway and West of the land conveyed
to Deschutes County by deed recorded September 29, 1966 in Volume 150,
page 411 Deed Records.
PARCEL B: That portion of the NW1/4 of Sec. 21, Township 17 South,
Range 12 East of the Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon, lying
South of the Kotzman lateral and East of the Land conveyed to Deschutes
County by deed recorded September 29, 1966, in Volume 150, page 411, Deed
Records.
T-Standards are as follows:
1. Prior to any development of the sites, a site development plan shall
be submitted. The plan shall show an adequate buffer adjacent to
residential property.
2. The required buffer area shall include such things as special setbacks,
yard areas, open space greening and landscaping to whatever extent
necessary to provide sufficient screening.
3. Existing vegetation and natural features would assist in providing
natural screening to be preserved.
4. Site development plan approval shall make provisions for an East-West
access route through the industrial development between Boyd Acres Road
on the East and Highway 97 on the West.
