IN THE MATTER OF FINAL HEARING ON ANNEXATION TO CLOVERDALE RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT: At this time the Commission held a hearing on the annexation to Cloverdale Fire Protection District. VOL 19 FACE 826 IN THE MATTER OF APPOINTING BEND INSURANCE AGENCY AS AGENT OF RECORD FOR DESCHUTES COUNTY: At this time the Commission went on record as reappointing the Bend Insurance Agency as agent of record for Deschutes County for the fiscal year 1975-1976. IN THE MATTER OF SPECIAL ELECTION: At this time the Commission ordered that an election be held to permit a levy to provide funds for the disposal of solid waste in Deschutes County on May 6, 1975. IN THE MATTER OF LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWAL: At this time the Commission approved a liquor license renewal for Louise C. & Juanita Mae Tatum, Three Creeks Lake Store, Package Store. IN THE MATTER OF AMENDMENTS TO THE DESCHUTES COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE NO. PL 5: At this time the Commission ordered that the following amendment be adopted: Deschutes County Zoning Ordinance No. PL 5, Article III Section 3.115 Suburban Residential Zone SR -1 6. To allow for planned development as a conditional use in the SR -1 zone as provided in Section 4.010 of this ordinance. IN THE MATTER OF ZONE CHANGE FOR JACK OLIVER: At this time the Commission ordered that the zoning of the following described property be changed from RR -1 to A-1. A tract of land consisting of 40 acres in the NW; of T20's, R11E, S30 B, W. M., Deschutes County, Oregon, also known as second Unit of Valley Ridge Acres, for Jack Oliver. IN THE MATTER OF CETA II & CETA VI FUNDS: At this time the Commission ordered that the Deschutes County Treasurer set up separate special accounts for CETA II and VI funds for the payment of salaries to CETA II and VI employees. IN THE MATTER OF SETTING UP REVOLVING FUND FOR DISTRICT COURT: At this time the Commission ordered that the Deschutes County Treasurer set up a revolving fund for District Court to be used for expenses in the collection of fines by having drivers licenses suspended. Wrong Property 45.38 IN THE MATTER OF HEARING ON ANNEXATION TO RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT #2: At this time the Commission set the date of April 2, 1975 at 10:00 a.m. at the Deschutes County Courthouse Annex, Bend Oregon for the Hearing to receive any protests to the proposed annexation of the following described territory to Rural Fire Protection District No. 2: Saddleback and Saddleback West Subdivisions IN THE MATTER OF PRISONERS BOARD: At this time the Commission resolved to request that the court of Deschutes County, when placing a prisoner on work release programs, include in the judgment order an order an order that the net earnings of said prisoner be paid over to the Sheriff of Deschutes County, and the cost of the board of the prisoner be taken out of the earnings. IN THE MATTER OF AMENDMENT TO CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN AS ADOPTED JUNE 25. 1973.: At this time the Commission resolved that the Classification and Pay Plan as adopted on June 25, 1973 be amended by making the following change: 4210 Deputy District Attorney Range 28 $1103 - $1441 IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTIONS TO ESTABLISH ROADS: At this time the Commission made Resolutions of its intention to establish County Roads in Deschutes County, Oregon Described as follows: CRAVEN ROAD: A strip of land for street purposes 60 feet in width, 30 feet each side of centerline as platted on the official plat there of in the office of the Deschutes County Clerk. COOPER PLACE: A strip of land for street purposes 50 feet in width, 25 feet each side of centerline and as platted and recorded in the official plat thereof, in the office of the Deschutes County Clerk. VOL "A.6E TEMPEST DRIVE: A strip of land for street purposes 60 feet in width, 30 feet each side of centerline and as platted and recprded in the office of the Deschutes County Clerk. MUSTANG PLACE: A strip of land for street purposes 50 feet in sidth, 25 feet each side of centerline and as platted and recorded in the official plat thereof, in the the office of the Deschutes County Clerk. And it is Ordered that the County Roadmaster or his duly qualified deputy, shall give notice of these Resolutions by posting true copies thereof, properly certified to as such by the County Clerk, at the place of holding County Court and also at three public places in the vicinity of said proposed road thirty days previous to the consideration of this Resolution by the Board of County Commissioners, notirying all persons concerned that said Resolution will be considered and passed upon by this Board of County Commissioners at the meeting on the 16th day of April, 1975 at which time the Board of County Commissioners will consider any objections or remonstrances which may be filed on account of said proposed road. IN THE MATTER OF MAKING BANK DEPOSITS: At this time the Commission resolved that deposits from the Clerk's office and any other office with money to be deposited at the bank shall have these deposits into the Treasurer's office each day no later than 11:00 a.m. These deposits will be collected each day between 11:00 and 12:00 at the Treasurer's office by a deputy sheriff and taken by the deputy to the bank for deposit. IN THE MATTER OF AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE CONTROL AND DISPOSITION OF DOGS WITHIN DESCHUTES COUNTY: At this time the Commission ordered in to effect County Ordinance No. 203-1 to become effective in 90 days from the 5th of March, 1975. This ordinance provides that any dog causing a public nuisance as described in the Ordinance shall become impounded and held until it is determined whether the dog is a nuisnace, and if so then destroyed. IN THE MATTER OF CONTRACT WITH DOUGLAS S. COATS: At this time the Commission entered into a Contract with Douglas S. Coats for the construction of the Bend Deschutes Market Road Project. (B-31-2) Total contract price is $35,720.00. The completion date shall be April 26, 1975. If the work is not completed by this date the contractor sihall be assessed $40.00 per work day until such time as the contract is completed. IN THE MATTER OF CONTRACT WITH DOUGLAS S. COATS: At this time the Commission entered into a Contract with Douglas S. Coats for the Peterson Road Bridge Project. Total contract price is $36,716.40. The completion date for the contract shall be April 26, 1975. If the work is not completed by this date the contractor shall be assessed $40.00 per work day until such time as the contract is completed. IN THE MATTER OF AGREEMENT WITH DONACA AND TWEDT: At this time the Commission entered into an agreement with Donaca and Twedt to conduct an audit of the county and fiscal affairs of Deschutes County, Deschutes County Library and Deschutes County Fair Board for the period beginning July 1, 1974 to June 30, 1975 and annually there after in accordance with the prescribed minimum standard of Audit Reports, Certificates, and Procedures. This agreement may be canceled by either party at any time be gining written notice to the other party at least ninety days prior to July 1, of any year after the 1974-75 audit is completed. Deschutes County hereby agrees to pay Donaca and Twedt a fee of $7,800.00 for the audit for the fiscal year 1974-75.
