IN THE MATTER OF ATTENDANCE: At this time the Commission noted that Steve Scott, Sterling Williver, Ken Mathers, Cash R. Perrine, Jim Drew, Charles Marsh, Laura Velasquez, Charles Plummer, Dave Hoerning, Sheridan Fahnestock, Donald T. Grubb, and Bob Montgomery were present at the morning session. IN THE MATTER OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN FAMILY PLANNING CLINIC & PUBLIC WELFARE DIVISION: At this time the Commission entered into agreement on behalf of Family Planning with the State Public Welfare Division to provide family planning services to participants in the Division's program. IN THE MATTER OF ESTABLISHING A RURAL ADDRESS SYSTEM FOR PORTIONS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY: At this time the Commission Ordered the Planning Dept. -to implement the new rural address system as recommended by the Deschutes County Planning Commission. IN THE MATTER OF DECLARING THE NECESSITY FOR CONDEMNATION OF PROPERTY FOR USE BY DESCHUTES COUNTY: At this time the Commission, in order to realign Burgess County Road near LaPine, Oregon and to construct a new bridge at said location, Resolved and Ordered that eminent domain proceedings be instituted for the purpose of acquiring the real property of Crystal Sterns for the above purpose. The District Attorney is to commence proceedings forthwith. IN THE MATTER OF DEPOSITING MONEY WITH THE CLERK.FOR CONDEMNATION OF PROPERTY IN CONNECTION WITH IMPROVEMENT OF BURGESS COUNTY ROAD: At this time the Commission Ordered that a warrant in the amount of $4,885.00 made to the order of Crystal Sterns be drawn on budget line item 5348 and be placed in the hands of the Deschutes County Treasurer; and be it further Ordered that the Treasurer place said warrant in the hands of the County Clerk for use of the defendant. This.action is the result of eminent domain proceedings against Crystal Sterns. IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTIONS TO ESTABLISH ROADS: At this time the Commission made Resolution of its intention to establish County Roads in Deschutes Countyj Oregon described as follows: BEE TREE LANE: A strip of land for street purposes 60 feet in width, 30 feet each side of center I i ne as p I atted on the off i cl a I p I at of Bee Tree as recorded in the office of the County Clerk. COUNTRY SQUIRE ROAD: A strip of land for street purposes 60 feet in width, 30 feet each side of centerline as platted on the official plat of Bee Tree as recorded in the office of the County Clerk. OVERTREE ROAD: A strip of land for street purposes 60 feet in width, 30 feet each side of centerline as platted on the official plat of Bee Tree as recorded in the office of the County Clerk. Now, therefore, it is hereby ordered that the County Roadmaster or his duly qualified deputy, shall give notice of this Resolution by posting threecopies thereof, properly certified to as such by the County Clerk, at the place of holding County Court and also at three public places in the vicinity of said proposed road thirty days previous to the consideration of this Resolution by the Board of County Commissioners, notifying all persons concerned that said Resolution will be considered and passed upon by the Board of County Commissioners at a meeting on the 8th day of January, 1975 at which time the Board of County Commissioners will consider any objections or remonstrances which may be tiled on account of said proposed roads. IN THE MATTER OF REFUND OF TAXES: U_ U 3.') t� At this time the Commission Ordered F. C. Sholes, as Tax Collector, to make the following refunds of taxes: Hap Taylor, Jr. Overpayment of property taxes IN THE MATTER OF AGREEMENT WITH HENRY VELASQUEZ: $155.60 At this time the Commission entered into agreement with Henry Velasquez to compensate him $500.00 for his over time accrued prior to January 1, 1975. Holiday pay will be paid for Christmas 1974 and New Years 1975. Commencing January 1, 1975 time and one-half will be paid to Henry for all time worked in excess of 40 hours per week, or in excess of the assigned tour of duty as defined under applicable Federal law and regulations. IN THE MATTER OF APPROPRIATIONS TRANSFERS WITHIN REVENUE SHARING FUND: At this time the Commission ordered that the following appropriations within the Revenue Sharing Fund be made: $13,000.00 from Revenue Sharing, MatIls & Serv., Building (32-80-334) to Revenue Sharing, MatIls & Serv., Contr. Serv. (32-80-233) line item was inadvertently left out of budget. IN THE MATTER OF APPROPRIATIONS TRANSFERS WITHIN GENERAL FUND: At this time the Commission ordered that the following appropriations within the General Fund be made: $500.00 from Planning Dept., MatIls & Serv., Off. Sup. & MtI-, (01-07-201) to Planning Dept., MatIls & Serv., TrvI. Exp. (01-07-204) to increase under - budgeted line item. IN THE MATTER OF PERSONNEL ACTION: At this time the Commission approved the following personnel action: Placed Stephen W. Wilkins on Road Dept. payroll at $599.00 per month effective Sept. 1, 1974 as merit increase. Placed Roger Kent Prowell on Road Dept. payroll at $599.00 per month effective Sept. 1, 1974 as merit increase. Placed Donald A.
