Attendance: Commissioners, Albert Young, W. F. Schinkel and Joe Peden; Mrs.
Fred Daggett; Sheridan Fannestock; Walter G. Miles; Dave Hoerning, Director of
Public Works; Charles L. Plummer, Road 71aster; Lorin i1organ, Planning Director;
and Lucia Venator, Secretary.
Chairman Young called the meeting to order at 10:00 a. mi. Lorin [11organ,
Planning Director, was present to request a Zone Change from A-1, Exclusive
Agriculture to SR -I, Suburban Residential. Mr. �,-lorgan recommendated the change
be made as this action is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan for Deschutes
County. "
Commissioner Schinkel moved and Commissioner Peden seconded that the
request be made. (zone change is for Frank Taylor)

Mrs. Fred Daggett was present to ask the Commission if
Deschutes County Woods might be put to use for the residents of the area. After
some discussion, it was felt that the County could not go into the business of
furnishing water, but Dave Hoerning will contact the District Attorney and see
if the property can be put up for public sale.
A motion was made by Commissioner Peden and seconded by Commissioner
Schinkel to increase Mileage Allowance from .12 a mile to .15 a mile retro-
active to July 1, 1974.
It was agreed that Personal Property Tax Warrants be published in the
Bul letin.
Director of Public Works, Dave Iloerning, presented Resolutions for the
proposed establishment of Silver Sage St., Tapadera Street and Concho Street.
September 18, 1974, was set as the date to hear any objections or remonstrances
which may be filed on account of said streets.
There being no further business at this time, meeting was adjourned.
