This matter coming before the County
upon the Planning Commission's recommendation
on this issue August 13, 1974, and unanimously
O R D E R
Board of Commissioners
who held a public hearing
recommended approval, and,
The County Board of Commissioners accepting the Planning
Commission's action to change the zone and deeming this action to be in
conformance with the Oregon Supreme Court requiring that the zone change
is in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan for Deschutes County, that
there has been shown a public need for change which can be identified
within the objectives of the Comprehensive Plan, that the public need
specified is best met by the zone change, and that the zone change
conforms to the general welfare standards in the enabling legislation
which can be identified within the report of the Planning Commission
justifying the change.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the zoning of the following described
property be changed from R-1 Urban Residential Single Family, to
R-2 Urban Residential, Multi -family:
A portion of Tract 9 of Boyd Acreage in Deschutes County lying
in the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 28, Town-
ship 17South Range 12 East, W. M. and that portion of property
lying north of Studio Road and East of Boyd Acres Road in
the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 28, Township
17 South, Range 12 East W. M.
Done by order of the Board of Commissioners this 4th day of
September, 1974, to become effective immediately.
