This matter coming before the County Board of Commissioners
upon the Planning Commission's recommendation who held a public hearing
on this issue August 13, 1974, and unanimously recommended approval, and,
The County Board of Commissioners accepting the Planning
Commission's action to change the zone and deeming this action to be in
conformance with the Oregon Supreme Court requiring that the zone change
is in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan for Deschutes County, that
there has been shown a public need for change which can be identified within
the objectives of the Comprehensive Plan, that the public need specified
is best met by the zone change, and that the zone change conforms to the
general welfare standards in the enabling legislation which can be
identified within the report of the Planning Commission justifying the
change.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT the zoning of the following described
property be changed from R-1 Urban Residential and A-1 Exclusive Agriculture
to MR -T Industrial Reserve with T -Standards:
A tract of land lying in the NE 1/4 of Section 4, Township 15 South
Range 10 East. W. M. BEGINNING at a point on the North line of
said Section 4, said point further being on the Easterly right-
of-way line of Wilt Road (Camp Polk Road); thence leaving said
right-of-way line Easterly along said North line of said section
to a point of intersect with the Southeasterly right-of-way line
of the Northeast -Southwest runway of the Sisters Airport;
thence leaving said section line Southwesterly along said right-
of-way line to a point of intersect with a northerly projection
of the West line of that tract of land deeded to Evan Lowe; thence
South along said projected line and along the West line of said
Tract to the Southwest corner of said tract; thence East along the
South line of said tract to the Southeast corner of said tract;
thence due South to a point on the Northerly right-of-way line
of Barclay Drive; thence Southwesterly along said line to a
point on the easterly right-of-way line of Wilt Road(Camp Polk
Road); thence Northerly along said right-of-way line of said
Wilt Road to the point of beginning and terminus of this
description.
The T -Standards are as follows:
1. An over-all land use plan shall be submitted to the Planning
Commission for review and that all uses are consistent with
residential and airport related facilities.

of the over all development plan at which time specific
conditions for developoment will be considered by the
